If anyone feels like indulging me...
my students have been bugging me to try "GarageBand" (music program on Macs) so over the weekend I made this - a "dance mix" if you will of Rachmaninov's Vocalise. I think I found a new hobby, I'm addicted. Everything but the drums is me playing or singing. Enjoy! (or not - I can take criticism!)

1. OMG, I love that!!!!

:applause:

I'd be addicted, too!!! Fun, fun...:bounce:

Hey, these would make good backgrounds for some of the video ideas I have in mind. I, hopefully, will be bothering you soon, if the programmer manifests soon. ;)

Very nice!!! Thanks for sharing. :)

2. I listened to this when you posted it on Facebook. I love it!
So you're doing the high voice also? If so, very nice! :D

3. The high voices are only "me"....
....in the sense that it somewhere originated as my voice - then I pushed the "helium voice" button to make it high!

4. Great beat, easy to dance to. I give it a 99
 (remember American Bandstand?) And it's such a great way to introduce classical music to kids.
Thanks for Your indulgence.

5. I do the same thing...

I always say "great beat, easy to dance to, I give it..."

No one ever knows what I'm talking about! LOL

How do you know you're old? When American Bandstand references make no sense....

Or Soul Train for that matter. "This is Don Cornelius for Soooooooouuuuuuuul Trainnnnn."

:)

6. Funny! My husband and I have been
taping Soul Train for weeks now. Too much fun.

We were recently remembering our introduction to classical music as kids watching cartoons. I remember my dad once asking me, where did you learn the William Tell Overture - had no idea that's what it was called but said Bugs Bunny :)

7. My introduction to opera
was on Sesame Street when the orange with spaghetti hair would sing The Habanera from Carmen!
