1. Thanks, MagickMuffin!
I'm having my husband tape it for me since I'm not able to watch it tonight. I've been told that it is good. :)

4. I watched it.
As well as recorded it. I posted a thread on it in R/T and people were already complaining about it. One person said they were "glassy eyed" and another one seemed to think too much time was spent on the Buddha's life and not enough on his philosophy.

5. I didn't see all of it, but rather enjoyed it.
Glassy eyes might be appropos for many, concerning history of religions.

Any see Mormons? Enjoyed what I saw of that, too.

7. I just finished watching it
I didn't really notice anyone with the "glassy eyed" look and I wonder how this person came to such a conclusion

Does the light that is reflected in their eyes make them "glassy eyed" or because they appeared joyous, happy, and compassionate?!?!?

I suppose the Buddha would appear "glassy eyed" and I suppose that's a bad thing. I'm stumped.

It would have been nice to see a more in depth history and philosophy on the Buddha. Of course there is the PBS website to check out like was suggested at the end of the program.

8. Maybe it was the statues that appeared 'glasssy-eyed?'

11. Yes, a poet maybe? Unnaturally? Maybe unusually, I'd say.
And I agree.

9. I gave up on the R/T forum a long time ago.
I assumed it was for people who were interested in Religion and Theology. It seems to actually be full of people who want to complain about Religion and Theology.
