BIG $$$ Corporations taking a hit. Are we changing for the better?

It seems that the universe is changing the world of finance. Toyota, one of the biggest car manufacturers, ...BP Oil...The stockmarket...the Euro...Here in Nashville, many still reeling from the financial effects of the flood...Are we supposed to change how we view money? Are we needing the rich and powerful to feel the pinch as well? Let's hope we collectively learn our lesson in a timely fashion!!:dem:

Because we sure need to!

I have noticed that the defense of BP is rare and pretty weak. Because good grief, what they've done is indefensible.

And if the BP debacle doesn't convince us that wind power is essential and the arguments against it silly at best (there's a constant debate about windmills here--"but it'll ruin the view!" "but they make noise!"--never mind they're placed nowhere near private property), then we as a species are well and truly fucked. x(
