I'm chiming in here and hope others will do the same, if they're also intensely feeling this need to BREAK FREE, and empowered to MAKE IT HAPPEN -- even if the how's aren't completely clear as yet -- FINALLY.

It's time.

That's not said lightly either, it is time.

...I do not sense there being any less or more urgency now in me ... I have little astrological knowledge and do not understand half of it, but as one of the "60's" generation, after the assassinations of MLK, RFK, Medgar Evers, (I was only 12 when JFK was killed), was when I was "called" to be an activist and for change.

I had my doubts in the 1980's when my peers were having wine tasting parties, running successful businesses that came out of the hippie revolutions (lots of stained glass, natural foods/farms and ethnic/vegan restaurants, weaving, etc), many got to be the first in their families who graduated from college and became professionals who gave away their souls to "the man" imo. They were laughing at me as "proof" my activism was too idealistic and the reason I was in poverty. I wondered, "Was I just hanging on to a hopeless dream, kind of like a HS football player who never leaves HS in his mind?" But the things I believed in I just could not abandon, they were good things and possible, so I thought. I no longer think they will be possible in my time but maybe better for those to come and this is all right with me.

Now many of them are right back where I always was ~ sans their integrity, but some are getting that back after realizing they were just waking up from a wonderful dream that is transforming into a nightmare. I am now wondering if this "shedding" is something I won't have, but perhaps my '60s peers will have after losing everything and realizing they abandoned their ideals they started out so passionately to believe. I always felt so frustrated and so disappointed with them and felt abandoned while out there speaking against the things giving us nightmares now with the same people they ignored being major participators then (Negroponte, Bu$h, Cheney, Reagon, and their ilk): Nukes, El Salvador, the American poverty they ignored while pretending that it only occurs overseas, media coverage (oh yes the media was quite complicit BEFORE the Telecommunications Act), racism, it goes on.

Oh I hope so much they wake up and "shed" that smelly skin now! They did have the roots but stayed in that shiny skin until it is now stinking and being torn off whether they want to do it or not.

In the past few days two infamous criminals (made so by incessant news coverage, which is not necessarily good) seem now on the verge of paying for their crimes. I wonder if this has to do with it being the time for things to be revealed?

I know with in my own family, two of us are now revealing a lot of stuff that affected our entire lives but was the unmentionable elephant in the living room. Lots is dredging up inside me all of a sudden that I had suppressed or rationalized away for a very long time. I am having to see who I am vs the very bad messages I received along the way. This is a release and a relief.

I'm not sure that the Uranus and Jupiter entrance into Aries (as of today!) has to do with revealing. I guess it can manifest in so many ways. Mostly, it's a readiness within to note your own blockages and a readiness to step on the gas and not let it happen again. With my cliets, some are consciously aware and some are not, but it's time to take off and stop gettin snagged on long-learned lessons of repression.
