1. That's the most beautiful thing!
That's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! What a dream!!!!!! I want to live in that world and always have. I have literally fantasied about a world like this vision would create.

I came upstairs after seeing a commercial on local TV for a Christian TV broadcast, they were advertising by showing why President Obama is the Anti-Christ. This world is going mad, maybe finding this post immediately after seeing that was the Universe telling me not to give up hope.

2. The stark contrast....

of what you experienced just now is astounding, isn't it?

I don't care if people accuse me of burying my head in the sand (as I know that's not what I am doing; I'm aware of the atrocities and horrors and injustices, I'm not ignoring them), but I'm going to keep focusing on creating THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF THAT in every way I can. By starting within. Paying attention to where my focus is: on what I choose to experience, rather than the current realities which I don't choose. I see it, I'm experiencing it, and it's that contrast which is propelling me to DO the opposite and create the opposite in whatever small, piddly ways I personally can.

For my personality type, I absolutely must do that. With the Exxon Valdez disaster ages ago, it nearly did me in...the hopelessness I felt (I was in Jersey and very involved with both Greenpeace and PETA then), the anger...it consumed me and made me completely useless.

We're all different as to how we move through these things, but I know that -- right now, at this point in time -- it's vital I maintain focus. You and I are often in sync, GTRO; maybe that's what you're being asked to do as well, even though it isn't easy, at all.

?

4. I am similar
I cannot just live in anger or I become useless or WORSE. I view the emotional pounding of the 24/7 news cycle as just a way to control people's emotions for $$$, the angrier and more fearful and miserable we are the more we tune in for the next round of horrors. Saving my emotions so I can be a decent person is something I have to do.

3. Anti-Christ Crap
...you know the stooopidist thing these right wingnnut Christians believe is something an evangelist congered up in the 1800s to fill his coffers. If there is one thing these greedy insincere bastards know it is "scare the shit out the congregation and the collection plate comes back heaping, forget about all that "love your neighbor crap ..."

I remember a story Greg Palast told about flying with Pat Roberts in his private jet SUPPOSEDLY on a mission to Africa where he was bringing $1,000,000 "to feed the poor little African children..." In reality Roberts was going to check out his gold mines where little children labored. Palast said all the hours he was in the jet, he saw not one single Bible ~ but he DID see The Wall Street Journal, The Economist and about every other money-making publication. What a sleaze-bag (Roberts, not Palast, lol).

Christian stations TV, radio or Internet are abhorrent and a blight on the religion. They are just money-grubbing and sleazy and use the name of JayZus to enrich themselves. How about if they did something valuable like worked for Gay marriage and admit that the gays they hate were made the way they were by GOD and that they are supporting blasphemy by rejecting gays where they are in essence saying their "god" made a mistake.

GRRRR!

5. We never have to look far
to see a hijacked religion. It's just down the street or right next door. :-(

6. If Obama is the antiChrist, why aren't all of us falling over ourselves to follow him?
It is said that the ac will unify the majority through feel-good deceit. Obama ain't exactly unifying the majority  Although he is so scary smart I'm glad that he's on our side.

Regarding religions and especially the not-so-religious-religiosos...all that is changing as we watch. I doubt that it will be very pretty for the worst hypocrites.

A thought about homosexuality. I'm an open alcoholic (we're supposed to be anonymous, but I firmly remind people that any screw-ups I engage in will be my fault only, not the program!!!), and I have yet to see anyone of any particular type or alignment NOT be granted the miracle of recovery, when they have worked for it. Lawyers, homosexuals, rock stars, gang-bangers, etc. all are granted recovery when they work for it. I don't see any exclusion at all.

If God despises gays, why would God create them and then help them when they ask for it?
