Changing DNA

I'm working with a friend to alter the expression of DNA that has her allergic to almost all foods. THis morning I had a breakthrough. And then I thought to go looking for the information on DNA. I googled "changing DNA " . I got a lot more than I had dreamed of. Some are scientific articles and some are not. This is one that combines both science and speculation.

1. I forgot to tell you that my friend is on her way to Italy
Where she plans on enjoying some pasta and other things that have been off limits. She will be my test case and I'll let you know when she gets back
how that goes for her.

2. yes it is all in the expression
Or "junk" DNA--the DNA doesn't change but its expression can change.

Congrats on the breakthrough!

NAET has been really helpful in the past for my family's reactions to various foods. Pretty sure the most logical way it works is to remove "conditioned fear" that the body feels when exposed. When you think about all the times in our lives when we have eaten something while under stress, it just makes sense that some of the emotions get transferred to the food, just like Pavlov's dogs salivating when they hear the bell.

The mechanism is through ensuring the flow of chi through the acupuncture meridians is no longer blocked when the person is exposed to the food.

If she has any trouble with food on her trip, she could try some EFT to try to rid herself of reactions.

3. My second subject is going to be my husband
He's having a terrible "allergy season". I asked him if I could try the technique I've developed on him. He's agreed. I let him know that he doesn't have to believe that this could be done, but only to be open to the possibility.

I am going to be documenting this experiment. I'll note the date when i worked on them and then track any differences in their allergies.

I might add that my husband is a sciency guy who also happens to be an atheist. Hasn't made a whit of difference in our marriage. Both of us are open enough that we can say there is far more that we don't know, than what we do know. We both know that until the microscope, people could not see the microscopic world. He's of a mind that we probably just don't have the tools to see or understand what I am experiencing.

He does validate and is an observer of what I experience. They are my experiences. Just because he doesn't have the same visions I do does not mean they do not have some sort of reality.

What I want is an outcome that is repeatable and verifiable and to help alleviate suffering.

4. Is the technique similar to NAET?
Yeah, doesn't make a difference if someone believes it will work or not.

I have found that in my family reactions to foods have been easier to overcome than stuff we breathe. But even that has been helped somewhat. I don't know why the difference.

Once a friend of mine said that she couldn't read the paper without sneezing nonstop. LIGHT BULB TIME!! There had just been some articles in the local paper about her and an event that happened 25 years ago. That cleared up easily when I treated her. She's no atheist, but even though she completely stopped sneezing after the treatment, she still never accepted that what I was doing had anything to do with the change. I don't really get it, because the change was immediate Oh, well. She was open to being treated, but not in accepting the results.

Energy treatments make a real difference, but there is still a lot of resistance.

5. I have no idea what is involved in NAET
What I 'm doing is going in, "talking" to the DNA and then asking for the change. Basically. I do use Ho'oponopono, which is my personal spiritual practice. There's some other stuff too, but that's basically it. Does that sound like NAET?

6. not exactly

But that method should work, based on my experience!!

Right now what I am using is entity removal and that isn't exactly NAET either!!

There are lots of energetic methods that should work with allergies. But it is NAET that is in the most widespread use, STILL, and launched many, many people into energy treatments. I'm going to describe it here.

Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique was begun by Devi Nambudripad. You can probably Google that to get a lot of the history, so I am going to go into the technique (from a patient perspective, since I never took the course!)

Allergies are eliminated one by one, sometimes in combination, and there is a certain order prescribed for the first ten or so, but after that it is up to the practitioner. The basic ten include things like chicken, eggs, corn, Vitamin C, sugar, etc. Allergy is a bit of a misnomer--it isn't in the medical sense but just a "reaction" that is treated. A "treatment" consists of holding a vial with the "energetic signature" of the item (or frankly, the item itself) while the practitioner stimulates points on both sides of the spine, hitting major points along all acupuncture meridians. After holding the vial or item for fifteen minutes or so, the acupuncture "gate points" are stimulated. One need not be an acupuncturist to do this. The practitioner determines if a person needs to be "cleared" of an item by using applied kinesiology (muscle testing). If weak to an item, the person needs to be treated. If strong, the treatment is not needed, or it shows the treatment was successful. That is the short version of NAET.

I knew NAET was working with my daughter, the first person in my family to use this technique. There are actually reactions to the treatment, and she had a reaction for several treatments. I remember she even got fever for 20 hours or so with her Vitamin C treatment. Afterwards, there was just a huge relief.

But now there are so many variations of all this. I just took a seminar where the sign language sign and words "infinite love and gratitude" are used to clear people. I'm not sure which techniques have reactions, and which don't.

And, as I have said many times, orgone on top of the head (pyramid, spice bottle orgone accumulator), makes people muscle test positive to everything. If people keep using such a device, I feel pretty sure it can "clear" things without even knowing what is being cleared. Orgone is forced through the meridians and energy fields of the body while even dreaming about certain things (in the case of a pyramid over the bed). How powerful is that!!

Good luck with your husband. Are you using applied kinesiology? You could be really able to track things with that. It may not be totally necessary, but it could help guide the process.

7. My husband was cleared of a decades-long tomato allergy using NAET.
Edited on Mon Jun-28-10 10:20 AM by I Have A Dream
It is wonderful to be able to have tomatoes available in our meals again.

I also tried it for my cigarette smoke allergy. It didn't completely cure me of it (although I don't feel quite so sensitive to it), but it's my understanding that it can take several sessions with some things, and I never went back to have more sessions. (It is very difficult to get sessions with the only person who I know who does it in my area.)

I'm definitely a believer in it.

11. know what you mean about the cigarette smoke
My daughter was capable of staying in bed for three days after going to a bar that had cigarette smoke. She had several NAET treatments for that, and now it just makes her tired the next day, basically. Fortunately most states have laws now about cigarette smoke in public places.

So, yes NAET helped, but she still reacts worse to it than I do, and I really can't stand being around cigarette smoke. I just don't think it affects the way I feel later all that much.

8. Thanks for the information Celebration
Focused, directed intention as used by WIlliam Tiller in his experiments, although he's imprinting the intent onto a machine that he can then use in highly controlled experiments.

In personal experience there are many factors to account for so I'll be using each subject's own experience as documentation of their allergy relief. I understand this is subjective rather than objective, but it's the best I can do for now.

I am going to find out what sort of allergy testing my first subject used to determine her allergens. She has a before so she can probably get an "after" test and that will give us an actual measurement.

With my husband, I'm not concerned so much with specific allergens as I am with relief without Benadryl.

12. NAET, Bioset
NAET and Bioset were mentioned on Coast to Coast last night. A woman was on the last half of the show, and she shared channeled information on the reason for the increase in the incidence of autism. According to her channeled sources (thinly veiled references to FDR and Einstein, unnamed ) it is the combination of biowarfare testing, and subsequently getting into the winds, from a particular place in Nevada, plus one of the viruses in the MMR that is the cause of most cases since 1998.

She did say that her son was now talking, and much better since using Bioset, which is an offshoot of NAET.

I do want to say one thing about these techniques. There are some practitioners that really promote themselves well and charge an enormous amount for using these techniques. Do not go to them!! It isn't rocket science. There are plenty of good practitioners that are more reasonable. But, even then, it was the cost of these treatments for everyone in my family that led me to learn all I could about all this stuff, and use the techniques, or even something substantially different, myself. Then, since I have children away from home, I had to learn to do the distance stuff.

Again, though, there are soooo many types of techniques like this that can be useful. I think Bioset uses galvanic skin response instead of muscle testing to track the response. The gsr measures stress in the body in response to a certain substance. Even just the word "corn" can cause stress, and reflect that in the galvanic skin response (similar to lie detector technology). There was even a published study on using an allergy elimination technique using a galvanic skin response.

Oh, and, yeah, it is a kind of "psychic" machine, because there is definitely operator involvement in how the probe is used. Same thing with muscle testing though................ some people won't admit that. "Blind" testing just doesn't work all that well, so it is a challenge to scientifically prove all this works.

More and more people are realizing that various allergies have sympathetic nervous system involvement..

9. Since every single cell in our body
contains our DNA, I'm somewhat skeptical that we can really change our DNA that way.

Don't know anything about NAET, but I do know that hypnotherapy can be incredibly good at getting rid of allergies. I didn't even do specific allergy work with hypnosis, while I was completing my hypnotherapy training, but suddenly my allergies are almost completely gone. Weird, but wonderful.

10. it's the "junk" DNA
Edited on Mon Jun-28-10 12:10 PM by Celebration
that can be up regulated or down regulated, I feel. DNA is "expressed",

The answer lies beyond both nature and nurture. Bygren's data — along with those of many other scientists working separately over the past 20 years — have given birth to a new science called epigenetics. At its most basic, epigenetics is the study of changes in gene activity that do not involve alterations to the genetic code but still get passed down to at least one successive generation. These patterns of gene expression are governed by the cellular material — the epigenome — that sits on top of the genome, just outside it (hence the prefix epi-, which means above). It is these epigenetic "marks" that tell your genes to switch on or off, to speak loudly or whisper.

13. Exactly...
Not changing the DNA directly.

My first subject has a particular gene set that causes an allergic reaction to gluten. Change the expression of the gene and you have a different response. On or off.
