Manifestation to share

Okay, first I want to remind you all how, after I posted here back in January, calling forth the perfect programmer for Wishadoo, I heard from The Perfect Programmer within 48 hours!!!! :bounce:

I often encourage others to "put it out there" -- whatever it is they are calling forth -- but I'm negligent about doing it personally. But, I did it, and there was a beautiful result. :hug:

The other day I shared something that has been on my mind for a long, long time...something I struggle with internally, as to how to approach this near obsession with a positive slant rather than anger as is often the case pertaining to this subject of "haves versus have-nots." I have a bit of a Robin Hood complex. ;)

I didn't realize it at the time, but I was "putting it out there" by sharing here. Calling forth SOMETHING as an answer, a suggestion, an idea...something.

Last night I received an email from someone who is part of the top 5% of the wealthiest Americans, and who belongs to the Responsible Wealth project mentioned below. This wasn't mentioned; the contact was simply expressing an interest in my Community Philanthropy ideas...commerce with a conscience...but when I researched the name further, I saw she is not only interested in Community and Philanthropy, but is also indeed part of this group whose intention is to help "balance things out." I thought for a moment that perhaps she stumbled upon my post above! But the website she referenced (my onevoicerising site) isn't mentioned here at DU.

(With the first incarnation of the Wishadoo site over a year ago, I posted a "test" post...just to test it, not really expecting anything, though it's something I really wanted/needed: a massage. Lo and behold, within 24 hours I received a COMPLETELY unexpected gift of a one-hour massage from someone I hardly knew!!! I'm convinced there's magick afoot with all this, because it was created and infused with so much love and good intentions.)

If there are categories you would like and don't see, or anything about the process you have suggestions about, please let me know. I want to "seed" everything about Wishadoo with positive intentions and love as is infused in this group, so you're my first invite. You'll notice on the home page the top left gray box -- under the green header box with flash images -- entited "WISHLIST" is empty. That box is programmed to feed three certain categories of wishlist posts: CRISIS, WHAT I CAN OFFER, WISHES & DREAMS. Those three categories convey the spectrum of Wishadoo.

Until there are posts in those categories, that gray box will be blank.

Someone asked me about that recently, so I thought I'd share that tidbit in case you were wondering, too.

The hardest part in any manifesting work, it seems to me, is the BELIEVE part. It's easy to be cynical and overthink it. Just TRUST that it's on the way. It may not show up in a thunderclap but it shows up!

Believe it or not, I want money for a breast augmentation.

See why I said it's not appropriate? LOL!

Most ppl think this is a vanity thing - but in my case as a sometime exotic dancer; it is a business investment..one that I can even write off on my taxes if I want to. It would also give me a decided edge in an extremely competitive business. If I were to be careful, clever and judicious, it would probably lead to a larger consistent income than I currently enjoy. I've seen evidence of this for years; and have done endless personal research on the subject.

But it's really hard for most people to understand..they'd rather I just found something else to do and give up my dream and my enjoyment of my job (when it comes; which to be honest is rare these days..the biz is much changed!)

I've been wanting one for fifteen years and I find that has not gone away, so as you suggest I'm putting it out there to the Universe. Sure, one puts it out as an intention; but I think you're right..writing it down seems to give it a certain magic.

So here in this safe place, I'm declaring my intention to find the financing - $5700 - for my Breast Augmentation Surgery. May it be accomplished for the best of everyone involved.

You are SO inspiring, OGR. I signed up at Wishadoo and will be participating as much as possible. It's a beautiful site. I'm also going to post it on my Facebook feed...

I would venture to say that most of us here are VERY uncomfortable asking for help, beyond prayers and hugs. We can ask on behalf of others, but to ask for US is very hard.

We are much more comfortable giving.

Asking. Is. So. Hard.

We can probably ask Spirit for what we are calling forth, freely and without hesitation. However, to voice it to another human being...that's hard.

It makes us feel vulnerable...it plays into the whole issue of expectation and disappointment.

Yet what I'm finding is that, simply by giving voice to our needs and desires, it lifts a burden in some way. Especially if we can ask, and then release it...releasing expectation.

To believe we're going to be okay somehow is, in my humble opinion, quite different from expecting a specific outcome. So we can hold the energy of believing, while releasing expectation.

There's something very empowering about that. That's what I hope others experience in this process.

The potential for solutions can then truly come about in miraculous ways...ways that wouldn't have had the opportunity to come forth without us simply sharing what we need, and asking for assistance.

From other human beings. :)
