How can I put this delicately (question about eclipse)
Are there any...er...physical symptoms that could be related to the eclipse? Because I'm having some serious health issues today...of a...er...purging nature. (And that's all I'm going to say about that.)

Appropriate timing? or just coincidental? Anybody know?

1. I see this type of information written repeatedly re: eclipse:

"Be aware that every time we face a major energy shift, all the cells of your body have to readapt to the new level of energy, so expect to feel tired or a little irritable. The effect of an eclipse can last up to 15 days and can influence the general chemistry of your metabolism, influencing your appetite and bodily functions."

Since there's so much focus on "cleansing and purging," which Rick has written about repeatedly, your body seems to be undergoing a physical manifestation of this at the height of the eclipse energy.

Hope you feel better soon!!!

4. Oh gods--15 days?!
Well, that makes sense, anyway. Thanks for posting this, OGR!

Now manifesting a truncated version of...whatever! Because I can't stay within five feet of my bathroom for 15 days. x(

2. Interesting
I developed an inability of the purging nature almost two weeks ago. Hmmmm. My problem is clearing up, I think.
What an interesting topic you raised, MG. And so delicately phrased. LOL

5. Believe me, I wish I didn't have to mention it at all!
I just couldn't help wondering if it was related. I mean, I did pick something up from my niece, but she was only bed-bound for less than a day. It hit me in the middle of the week, then I recovered, but today I've relapsed with a vengeance. I refuse to blame it on the churro from Olvera Street or the deep-fried goodness from Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. Both are too good to condemn!

Glad you're doing better, SC! :hi:

6. I found this after much googling
From Lauren Gorgo:

The symptom list is a long one this time around, so I will offer a truncated version of the most disturbing: We are still clearing the physical, base-level chakras, so there is lots of discomfort to be found down there...urogential discomfort, frequent urination & elimination, intestinal distress and cramping, BLOATING, extreme lower back back pain, soreness and vulnerability, sore legs and feet.

There is also a lot of energy running down our antennas (spine) which is causing anxiety, restlessness, disconnection, back pain, spine soreness from neck and shoulders to tailbone, flu-like aches all over, profuse sweating & chills, inability to get and stay warm, night sweats, in addition to heart palpitations, crown buzzing, pulling & vibrating, ocular (3d eye) headaches & migraines, burning/itchy/watery eyes, indigestion and nausea, ravenous hunger bouts, then indifference to food, sore throats & ear aches, deep unreasonable fatigue, insomnia, etc. <snip>

I could go on and on with this list, but the bottom line is we are shaking off lots of old energy on every level of our being and as always this requires a period of adjustment which equals discomfort.

http://spiritlibrary.com/lauren-c-gorgo/lunar-to-solar-eclipse-the-big-push

I've got the...ahem...base-level issues, so to speak, plus occasional bouts of chills although I know this comes from purging (I'm wearing a sweatshirt and it's 90 degrees out), as well as itchy eyes and some rounds of feeling STARVING (in the middle of the purging--a bad mix). My SIL has been grappling with a really bad earache for a couple of weeks (she can barely hear out of that ear), but her doctor didn't see much of anything when he looked in her ear canal.

Anyway, lots more to Lauren's post. I'm going to go read it again more closely.

7. hang in there and remember
this too shall pass (pun intended   )

Happily this time round, I've been feeling good other than the heat, humidity and a sprained wrist. The last eclipse cured me, cold turkey, of my coffee addiction.

The sprained wrist, btw, is at most tangentially eclipse-related. I got up to head the kitchen in the middle of the dark, dark cloudy night, tripped over Luna, who had moved to the floor where it's cooler. I went down HARD and FAST onto my left knee and right hand. The only surprise about the wrist is that its a sprain at most, instead of pulverized!

(disclaimer, no animals were harmed in this gravity experiment!)

:spank:

I do will it to pass soon--just not so...harshly!

I have resorted to bread products, diet be damned. It's the only thing that will stay with me longer than 10 minutes.

Sorry to hear about your sprained wrist--ouch! x( But yes, good thing it's only a sprain--it could have been much worse. (And of course the beasties escape unharmed--I have tripped over many a freaking-out zig-zagging-underfoot kitteh and have found they always escape unscathed.)

9. Your chart
I looked at your 6th harmonic chart, the one for health. The Sun is at 6 degrees of Capricorn which is right where the eclipse was and where Pluto sits. I have seen many clients have purging-type issues around Pluto events. Many of them, it just simply passed. I am not a Dr. but what I do find with Pluto is that many, many toxins are being released. It has to do with eruptions from beneath (see Gulf of Mexico.)

This is symbolic on a nat'l scale as the toxins are trying to empty out at the New Orleans area, and the drain is overflowing.

My idea is definitely to see a qualified Dr. This Pluto transit does not mean that you will get worse or better. It's just a symbol that the purging needs to take place. The eclipse TRIGGERED the Pluto which had been in place since 1/25/08 and will be in place for a while. Purifying your diet, your mind, your heart, all things, and letting go is definitely in order.

I wish you the greatest health and peace. :hi:

11. Rick!!
How are you, my sweet?

Thanks for the info--it figures. Plus it explains this "out of the blue" affliction. But damn, judging by the intensity of the illness, I must have plenty of toxins to purge! x( Seriously, I do know that I have a lot of "letting go" to do. I'm in the process but not done yet.

I'll have to ride out the physical issues, though--we're between medical coverage at the moment as Mr. MG transitions from contract worker to full-time employee. (But if it gets worse I'll visit my holistic m.d. who's self-pay anyway, I promise. :hi:)

25. It's not an overnight process
Edited on Sun Jul-11-10 06:08 PM by ricochetastroman
Pluto is long-term process. I you stand back and look, you'll be able to see a purging that has gone on for 2 years now and will go on for years more. It's normal for PL. We can't take it all at once. It works at many levels and gets triggered by the Sun, Moon, and Mars, including all lunations: Full, New Moons and all eclipses.

It is symbolic of cleansing.

The effects of eclipses can go on for months. Mostly, its about 10 days before and 5 days afterwards. The big one will be the Mars transit on 7/30ish.

Good luck :hi:

30. That's why it's not easy
when we talk about PL in Capricorn back then, or for that matter the revolution of 5/27 with Uranus and Jupiter. Most people, if they don't look specifically at the energy field, won't notice it until months/years pass. Then, it's clear as day. Keep on glowing.

Along with lower back pain sigh.
Also you posted an answer to a question I've been pondering for the last week or so.
You see every time I start my orbit to run the Reiki into the crystal prayer grids I keep seeing the DNA helix.
But your post talking about the energy shift of the Eclipse effecting us on a cellular level explains that!!!!! :)

So Thank you!!!!!MorningGlow,OneGrassRoot,Rick.

15. I'm feeling the opposite
I'm thinking I already did much of the clearing in the last eclipse 2 weeks ago.

Now that the topic is mentioned, I just noticed that my usual backache is GONE. I was comfortable all night, even without a doggie pressed against my back. I trimmed my old geldings feet this morning -- no back pain at all. :D

I'm purging too...though not in the digestive way. More hormonal, and emotional...
I went to Unity this morning and even though i 'thought' i was fine, i bawled like a baby. and Mr. Monthly is due any day now, won't THAT be fun...especially since the shift away from having surgery is forcing me to re-think how i treat my body through these ups & downs.

ya, i'm getting rocked from inside & out too.

17. Ugh, did that too
On Thursday, IIRC. Right in front of the whole family. Embarrassing!!! :eyes: I, too, put it down to Aunt Flo (we ARE on the same schedule, you and I!), but I know there was more to it than that--it needed to come out. And because it did, a whole lot of my personal issues were revealed to not only my mom (who already knew most of the stuff) but my SIL as well, who has suddenly become my biggest fan, ally, and supporter. Who knew? I mean, we got along fine before, but on a more superficial level. Now she knows almost all my dirty little secrets. ;) And, of course, now that she knows, she'll tell my brother. That's almost everybody, then!

Of course, I can still blame Aunt Flo for the fact that once I started  I couldn't STOP--for hours! That is SO my sort of PMS. :eyes:

Wait...what's Wednesday? :scared: (Or is that the arrival date for our leetle friend?)

22. i thought the eclipse was wednesday
but it is today...uh-oh

came home from unity after my weepfest
had a stomach issue (thanks for sharing, twin)
and my cramps have my low back aching and my head hurting
crawled into bed for a 2 hour nap

still woke up feeling bored, restless, and absolutely NON moto-vated to even TRY and clean up my ever-sickening wreck of a house (which, by most standards is really not that dirty, but the need to mop the floors is really bugging me...)

got this feeling of 'waiting for the other shoe to drop' and yet thinking that somehow i missed something too, cuz I sure gots NO clue as to what going on...

Welcome to Eclipse Day! :woohoo:

Sorry about the stomach thing! Don't get my fever, okay? (That's new--just got it about half an hour ago.)

I have more housecleaning to do too, plus I have to mow the lawn that is turning into Weed Central since we haven't had much rain, but not the way I'm feeling today--nuh-uh. Just hauling the laundry upstairs spiked my fever. x(

A nap sounds quite nice, but I guess I'll settle for being semi-horizontal on the couch till bedtime. An early bedtime.

Hope you figure out what that "other shoe" is...and when you do, let me know too, okay? :hi:

and the ecliupse is hitting my 9th house of career, haha!

I am part of the HUD program for Family self-sufficiency and there is a new director who has way more of a clue and may help me figure out how to expand my horizons and use this degree i just got.

am really thinking of dropping the newspaper idea, just because I don;t feelo secure enough to step into it, it's too overwhelming when my survival stuff is so close to the surface...i can;t be expected to go out there and 'sell'

so ya, that's what I was thinking of i guess

and isn;t it interesting that the eclipse touched the last part of Lemuria still standing?

That's quite an accomplishment. :grouphug:

FirstLight...girl, I'm so sorry you're going through such a rocky time. From the outside looking in, it seems as though you're on such an emotional rollercoaster. That is so damn hard, and I pray things level off for you...in all ways, so you can have some peace of mind, body and spirit.

MG, I was wondering what's up on Wednesday, too! I'm usually missing something important on the horizon...:eyes: Other than my daughter's birthday, I can't keep track of anything any more. More    to you as well, for what you're going through right now. We know you're going to come out stronger when you reach the other side, but getting there is absolutely exhausting.

Howler, you cracked me up with the hot flash comment! I don't have overt menopausal symptoms yet, but the plain ole PMS symptoms make life "interesting" enough. I remember that kundalini rising thing hit me when I turned 40. Having been celibate the previous 11 years (don't ask), it was scary and exhilarating but, mainly, it was SHOCKING! :wow: Just WOW. It lasted a few years...now I wonder if kundalini rising can happen more than once? Maybe it'll hit me again when I do go through menopause? Hmmmmm.......I hope I handle it more gracefully than the first time, if so. ;)

And    to you as well! :hi:

35. well, my mommy brought me some tylenol
...and my good friend is coming over with 'herbal' supplementation...and then I am taking a gentle walk around the block. just to keep moving.

took a shower and ran my energy, put the symbol of a smiley face over my second chakra to keep happy thoughts for my womanly-ness. I am really working on catching those negative imprints that say this HAS to be hard and painful...I don't have to buy into it.
AND
at the same time being gentle, eating what i wanna eat, and taking a nap later if that suits me too

thanks for your hugs & love
just walking through the fire i guess...
funny, this eclipse definitely feels like it is still firing. maybe I was right about wednesday and we'll be feeling this one for a while.
I also got a hit on the eclipse being over Easter Island- that maybe the eclipse is stimulating an ancient site to call forth the beings from that time & place to assist us. the Lemurian energy is very much about planetary stewardship and healing with LOVE...

36. Oh that explains it!
I had awful sciatica, Fri. & Sat. If I hadn't taken the bottle of arnica to bed with me I would still be there, unable to hobble down the stairs. I also had a fierce pain across the top of my shoulders up my neck, & felt feverish. I actually found myself wondering: Sat. afternoon: what was the sell by date on those polio vaccines I had years ago? I was among the first Gen to be innoculated. DO they really know if it will last for 60 years? ( I am within an hour of where FDR was striken)
I did reiki on myself, Sun. morning I wrote out my intentions for the solar eclipse..& did reiki twice
through the day.
Mid day it was party time on facebook & phone..........talked to a lot of new interesting friends. Pain faded away.
Today I am climbing around on a ladder, the sofa scrubbing walls & hanging paintings, like a 35 year old....NO PAIN, feel great!
