Interesting read. However Rick has reported much of what she has in his newsletters.

The Challenges of Libra and Scorpio
War and Peace:
This month’s transits of Venus and Mars in Scorpio are bringing many things to the forefront, as Venus turns retrograde on Oct. 8th and Mars moves to a square with Neptune on Oct. 22nd. The primary lunations this month are in critical degrees: the New Moon on the 7th at 14 degrees of Libra and the Full Moon on the 23rd at 29 degrees of Aries. Critical degrees are those that are more intense in their meaning, for the signs they inhabit. Libra signifies attempts at peacemaking while Aries presents to us the challenges of war.
The charts of two major players on the world scene are being activated; that of Iran’s Pres. Ahmadinejad and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whose birth dates are both the end of this month. Ahmadinejad’s recent speech at the U.N. was extremely hostile and confrontational, while Secretary Clinton is working patiently behind the scenes. As I predicted in last month’s newsletter, the Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking attempts are challenged again by their building expansion projects into the formerly forbidden zones. All of this is turning up the heat on the simmering cauldron of Middle East conflicts and struggles for power. Scorpio is a sign of nuclear weapons and the U.S. will be increasing pressures on Iran to stop their nuclear development, possibly in hidden and less transparent ways. The period between the 22nd and 23rd is particularly volatile.
Other People’s Money:
A small cabal of traders, speculators, and banksters are in control of most of the world’s money (the theme of Scorpio) and it is being maneuvered around in exotic derivatives that only an elite few even begin to understand. I recommend seeing the latest Wall Street movie and paying particular attention to the speech that Gordon Gekko (recently released from prison) makes to an assembly of college students. The movie recapitulates the 2008 meltdown, changing the names to “protect the guilty”. It also explains why the government had to save the giant banks and financial entities. If they had been “allowed” to fail, the entire banking system would have collapsed, people would have made a “run” on the banks to withdraw everything, and banking would have essentially disappeared from the country, similar to what occurred in the Great Depression of the 1930s. However, since the transnational corporations and banks are financing the campaigns of people running for office, there has not been substantial reform to prevent this from happening again. There are several rays of light. Elizabeth Warren has been appointed by Pres. Obama to set up the Consumer Protection Agency (which was her idea to begin with), and Lawrence Summers, an architect of deregulation, is leaving the government at the end of the year.
