At first I thought it was one of those Betty Bowers Landover Baptist things, but this looks like they're serious.

They spent a fortune on outdoor boards, from what one of their reps said on the radio interview I listened to.

A mutual friend told me a year later what had happened and he was worried about him. However, there was no talking to him and the last any one heard of him is that he had given away all of his stuff, dropped out of college and moved to a compound up north to wait for the end of the world. So I believe there is nothing knew here.

There will be an end to the human race and the world a long time after, but it just isn't going to come all at once. I really wish unscrupulous and unbalanced people would stop pushing this doomsday stuff on the weak and gullible.
