a plea to all astrologers here re: Scott Walker
Edited on Mon Mar-07-11 09:58 AM by alterfurz
The situation in my home state of Wisconsin is dire. Despite 3 weeks of unprecedented protests, Gov. Walker steadfastly refuses to even talk about any compromise. Somehow, we desperately need to either find some way to appeal to his better nature(!), or failing that, exploit some chink in his armor to compel him to listen. “Some change their ways when they see the light; others not until they feel the heat”–one way or the other, we simply must get through to him!

Unfortunately, I do not yet have his full chart details, only birthdate & place: 2Nov1967, Colorado Springs, CO. Even without knowing house placement, the planetary signs and aspects reveal much, so please–if anyone has any insights to offer about what might be the most effective way to proceed, please post here and/or personal message me here at DU or email me directly at alterfurz@yahoo.com

THANK YOU ALL!

1. Nothing to add at this point, but I am so ashamed that Walker is a fellow Year of the Goat person.
Goats are good folks who get a bad rap. Mostly because of ugly tools like Walker muddying up our reputation for humanity and compassion.

3. Rick has a reading on him on this forum

Plus there are many intuitives here who see a lot of yucch on this guy.

It's my opinion that he has overplayed his hand and will greatly misstep d/t his high levels of pride and ambition. We here in the other states are relying on you Wisconsinites to snuff this political baby in the nursery before he tries to break out nationally like Palin.

There is dirt there, shouldn't be too hard to find as he has delusions of grandeur and thinks he is above the law. His ego is something else.

He is vindictive. So be careful.

If the 14 Democrats can hold out a few more weeks through March into April, when Mars conjuncts Uranus-- I think they may come back in a stronger position.
But that is conjecture. I am not a skilled astrologer.

4. yes, thanks, I am following that thread, too...
...and hoping someone can come up with something "outside the box," since Walker seems so impervious to the usual means of persuasion and pressure.

5. Time, and rope (that is, enough given to him with which he can hang himself)
I can't speak to the astrological side of it, but my sense is that 1) he's outnumbered, and those who outnumber him (We the People) have more passion and less to lose than he does--they will hold out longer; 2) he's made quite a few missteps already due to hubris, and his ego won't take a back seat anytime soon, so he will screw up again, bigger and "better" than before; 3) on a larger scale, those of his persuasion are doomed to failure in light of the new energy that is manifesting stronger and stronger each day, through the spring and on into the rest of this year and next. He cannot win. :hi:

6. There are no chinks
he has the double Scorpio going with the triple Virgo, plus he is deluded by the Chiron in Pisces opp. Pluto. He is on a "mission".
He is ALL about personal power by selling his soul to the corporate worlds. His only downfall is by natural causes, i.e., absolute power corrupts absolutely. He is unbelievable shrewd, smart and craft.

Display to you state how heartless he is, that's how you win.

We all wish you the best of luck.

13. In spite of his stubborness and clear drive for power
he seems kind of dumb. And in that phone call with the guy he thought was David Koch, he seemed both dumb and sort of submissive.

I think he does have some chinks in his armor (arrogance being the foremost - people don't like that) and I'll go so far as to predict that he's not going to be on the political scene for too long. He has his eye on the nation prize for sure, but I don't think he'll ever make it that far.

10. Some thoughts and predictions from a "tentative" chart:
I have been working on rectifying Walker's chart, and your request forced me to come up with a tentative time. If anyone is interested, I would be happy to share my reasoning. It is tentative. I never know if a rectification is plausible until I see if it works in predictions.

This chart would respond to Pluto going retrograde on April 8, just before it reaches his Mars, ruler of his ascendant, in the 10th house. According to this chart, Pluto and the North Node were on his midheaven on election night. Shortly after Jupiter went into the sign of his ascendant, Aries, in late January, he began to be in the news, but especially after the prank call, when Jupiter was right on his Saturn, close to his ascendant and quincunxing his retrograde Mercury -- mistakes in communication wrought by hubris. This may be the seed of his downfall...

He has made mistakes in the past, usually involved with lying and breaking the rules, because of his impulsive, arrogant Aries ascendant and the fact that its ruler is in mutual reception with Saturn and that it aspects his Mercury in Scorpio. Having Neptune in Scorpio conjunct his Moon in the 8th house doesn't help either. Eventually it catches up with him, usually when Mars and Saturn are activated.

(Going Vedic), he has been in the final period of Mercury since August 2009. This whole time since then is ruled by Saturn for him until the 17-year Mercury period ends in April 2012. The encouraging thing is that Mars under Saturn is coming up for him in mid-May of this year. He was under a similar period in 1988 when he was denounced by the student paper at his college for unethical campaign tactics and lost the election to a write-in candidate.

There is a glamour side to his ego, although it may seem hidden. He sees himself as a warrior-reformer, as fixing things and moving on. And the catch word of 'budget' is what has become his cause since 2002, but it's not about balance, but a radical re-appropriation. This is how his Venus between Pluto and Uranus in his sixth house of fixing things plays out. Also in his draconian attitudes toward women, such as his position that abortion should be outlawed in all cases, even if the mother was raped or if her life is in jeopardy. These causes are somehow glamorous to him, as shown by Venus and Jupiter in Leo in the sixth in the Vedic chart. Jupiter is his chart ruler in the Vedic chart. There is a chink here too. Pride goeth before a fall? Pride doesn't belong in the sixth house, which is about making things work.

If this chart is correct, and that is quite an if, Pluto transiting at the mid-heaven represents both fate and the plutocratic forces responsible for his powerful role at this time. I can't help but think there will be some kind of withdrawal of that force and a reversal of fate as Pluto begins to slow down, as it is beginning to now until April 8, when it reverses direction. Thank our lucky stars it doesn't reach his ruthless Mars in Capricorn until next year, but that it will return to the fateful degree of the prank call, squaring his Saturn in the 12th house, in May.

We'll see.

Rick is right -- the best course is to keep exposing his dishonesty and dirty tactics. Push for prosecution of any laws broken as revealed in that call, and anywhere else. Some strong legal actions are indicated, although with Jupiter in his first now it will take real effort to make it stick. But he can be brought to account with that Saturn Mars thing.

And on another front, winning is in the protesters and all others in solidarity to keep meeting this powerful threat from plutocratic forces with an equal outpouring of all of this new energy and awareness and determination and courage that is emerging. It's happening! We have our own Pluto power, the power of the heart and the conviction of our own destinies.

Here is a link for the tentative chart. It's too late to fuss with figuring out how to post an image of it.

I hope this is helpful.

12. This is a very insightful piece about Walker that fits what folks here are saying about his chart
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x587412

As a former Republican aide in the Wisconsin State Senate, part of my job was to help read the governor, and advise my senator accordingly. If I were still advising a Republican state senator, this is what I’d say right now.

DO SOMETHING.

This governor is not hard to read. He’s a giant fiery ball of ambition. When he sneezes he compares it to how Reagan sneezed. His first major act, after netting a modest 52 percent in a GOP wave election, was to pick the most dangerous and inflammatory political fight he could think of. His next major act was to propose a budget that might get him re-elected in Texas, but not Wisconsin. Why?

Clearly he doesn’t care about getting re-elected in Wisconsin. He doesn’t care about protests, or poll numbers, or recalls. He barely even cares if what he’s proposing passes. So long as he gets attention for proposing it.

Scott Walker is driving a fast bus to Washington, estimated time of arrival 2012. Fourteen of his Senate passengers jumped off and hid the moment they knew what was happening. The other 19 might want to wake up before their own districts disappear in the rear-view.

not affect his chart, but it could give the movement against Walker an energy boost. If you can really hold on DON'T CAVE INTO WALKER!!

15. He is part of the corporate/international money scheme of disaster capitalism
and the "new world order". Of Gingrich's Contract On America and Reagan's masters working to destroy the middle class in order to have a class of kings and queens, and a class of frightened, throw-away puppets.

This is what they've been working for, for decades. This is not going away, they are not going away, they are working as they have always, albeit more visibly and more staunchly. They have no intention to budge because this is an orchestrated, systematic attack upon the weak spots of our country's superstructure. Any single victory in the courts will be taken to every other state and hammered at until they win.

They are robotic and utterly predictable, to act in their own best interest and to not budge, unless it is to allow them to come at the same issue from another angle. In the Reagan years, Schlafly and others were very bold and up front, expecting the majority to simply vote in their agenda. How could the majority disagree with their agenda...but they did. Now they work at destroying that which stands in the way of their ownership and abuse agenda, through phony grass-roots movements, through the courts, through sheer obstinance. Obdurance. They don't have to budge because they can literally out-wait any challenge/response. They've succeeded in such many times in the past. "It worked so well before; let's use it once more." -Front 242. Look for them to simply attempt to out-wait any response to their hard-lining. They'll act as badly as tantruming children when they know that they can get away with it. And worse.

And in the next two years, watch for Americans becoming more and more sickened and outraged by such SELFISHNESS. At the suffering Republicans unleash (or attempt to unleash) upon our country. Watch for people to continue seeing things as it is, not as Republicans wish for them to see (SADDAM WAS PART OF 9/11!!!). Things can change in America, but we have to WANT IT TO.

Watch for the Republicans to give us many and deep reasons to WANT IT TO.

17. But don't you feel a kind of hopefulness going on
inviting the great, big soul of American folks to master these huge waves, the imminent change that must take place? I think that for the first time in a long time, we are being able to lift the mask off of Darth Vader, and render him helpless.

It is a hard task when almost everything we do or touch everyday has to do with a large corporation.

18. Not always, but when a chart has too much Scorpio along with too much Virgo
IT IS common for them to have 0 empathy for others and become punitive simply because the "victim" allowed it. therefore, they deserve it.

that's his chart
