Okay, this might be a weird question

but I'm gonna ask it anyway. :P

All of the energies this week--could they have an effect on material things as well as our inner selves? Or am I just having a string of :wtf: moments?

It's been a lot of mechanical weirdness, all within 24 hours--Mr. MG's oil light went on in his car but he found out there's no problem with anything to do with the oil; a series of light bulbs poofed out all over the house even though some of them were new and they weren't all on the same bulb-changing schedule, if you know what I mean; and just now the battery suddenly died in my car keyfob. And, last but certainly not least, somehow my kid plugged up the toilet yesterday afternoon (without flushing Things That Don't Belong In The Toilet), yet it seemed fine through subsequent use all last night...until I used it before bed, then there was a lovely flood and now all the towels are going into the wash. :eyes:

Related? Unrelated? It it just time for a smudging? :shrug:

My daughter said a bathroom light bulb "dropped" out of the socket and broke all over the counter. This was two days ago. And this morning, a light bulb popped in a living room lamp.

I'm not nuts! (Well, I am, but not about this! :P ) ...So...what does it mean? :crazy:

Yes, I know that's a long ways off, but it'll be in the shadow by the 15th. So that might be related.

And I've noticed that some things are more likely to break with the Sun is in Pisces. The Sun is, of course, at the end of a cycle this month. If something's been hanging on the brink for a while, the Sun's trek through Pisces will sometimes kill it off for good.

the starter up & died on my car Sunday afternoon. Got it fixed Monday,but still, what a PITA to deal with.

Sorry your car farted out on you, dg. That is a pain. Looks like we're facing a $300 unexpected repair bill for Mr. MG's car (his mechanic is going to drop the oil pan and clean out all the gunk), plus some scratch for the rental car. Sigh. x(

Oh yeah, I forgot one: The coffeemaker that I bought Mr. MG for Christmas has started to smell funny--kind of ozone-y. I unplugged it when I went out earlier today; it was freaking me out and I kinda sorta didn't want the house to burn down. :banghead:

ever since I read a newspaper article about how most housefires are started by small appliances.... :scared:

THAT was a fun afternoon! :scared: But I was glad I was home.

I just have to remember to tell Mr. MG that I unplugged it before he freaks out tomorrow morning, thinking that the coffee maker died or something. He neeeeeeeds his coffee really, really bad! :D
