3. Haven't read it yet. I don't think it's horrible news though. Possibly

financial. No, not in the sense that I owe anyone any money (haven't for years). I actually think it's related to a class-action lawsuit I am inexplicably involved in (seriously). Does this help anyone get a sense of what it might be?

It can't be that bad. At least, I hope not.

I don't know you...or your posts, even. All I saw was a tree. Family, perhaps? An unknown member. Nothing good or bad, just unexpected. And some color (vague, huh...blue was the first one in my head).

I have never been good at things like this...dreams, I am usually OK. Directed actions, not so good.

But, not afraid to take a risk. :)

On edit: Duh...you have "blue" in your screen name, which is why it may have "popped" in my head. ***smacks self***

8. No sorries.

You open it when YOU are ready.

The tree I see is short, gnarled...much like an olive tree, but full..as if in full bloom. A setting sun is behind it. There is an odd branch..it juts out...no foliage, no disease...just an odd protrusion...like it doesn't belong, but it does.

And the number 45. :shrug:

Marla? :shrug: Maybe "marble."

I have an active mind, like most people. But, these are the things popping in my head. At least in this forum, I am not too 'crazy.' :)

Not good news...but not bad...just...news.

I actually think it may have to do with a deceased family member who passed last year.

Oh! Looking at the return address, you may be interested to know that two of the names on it are "Boldt," and "Carlisle." They sound kind of like "Marla"...kind of.

Is it possible that the person who passed on was not who she was supposed to be?

I like the way you are trying to reaffirm me...save it for yourself. :) As I said, not bad, not good...just...news.

"Carlisle" strikes something in me...but, I can't see anything. Just feel a little angry and confused.

Marla...marble...still jumping out at me. Who knows...I am just learning how to distinguish what are my 'fantastic' ideas, and what are 'signs.' I am still way to new, but I kept coming back to the post, so I went with my gut.

I do hope it is good news. Hope is always a good thing. :)

11. The member who passed was my grandfather...

who died of advanced aspestosis. The letter may have to do with a class action lawsuit pending against the manufacturers of the substance that killed him. Or, it may be about something else.

The image of the tree with the funny branch is interesting. That might be your impression of my place in my family tree! (Some of my relatives don't like me.) I actually think that if you're getting a sense of deception, it might have to do with my suspicion that some not-so-nice folks in my family have been futzing around with my name and information without letting me in on their dealings.

12. Interesting...

I keep sensing a woman...an old woman. Wise and crafty. Some woman is working for you...she is not "here" but she is with you.

It is interesting about the branch possibly being you, because in my "mind's eye" it is the strongest one...not flawed and weak, just "odd."

Face of the woman: round, rugged, dark (black) hair with "sideburns" or wisps coming down the side of her face, something on her head, like a scarf or shawl, two beauty marks, rounded nose, green or brown eyes...maybe she is a guardian for you. :shrug: She is also not very tall, not stooped over, just...well, short! Almost Greek looking.

It's really strange that you would mention any of those things--your description is very close to my memories of her. She died when I was seven. How interesting, I was just thinking of her (and actually looking at a photo tonight). We have the same birthday. She had some issues (a mental illness she kept from the family for years, and, according to my aunt--who is gay--may have been a lesbian who struggled to deal with her identity for her entire adult life). She was not very tall (height doesn't run in my family). Not Greek--Virginian.

Okay, I'm going to sleep for a while. I promise to open my letter later today and tell DU all the news.

Reading your post (the one I am responding to), I felt a sense of ease. Perhaps you now know she looks out for you and are seeing that or feeling it.

I hope you sleep well. I hope she tells you what "Marla" means...because that keeps popping in my head!!!

The confusion and anger I felt may have been her "problems," but I don't think they were. It is something "here." Something in the "now" making those feelings.

Anyway, I am looking forward to hearing what she has to say.
