1. Hi, Lindsey....
:hi:

There are many spiritual resources with daily offerings of inspiration. Daily Om comes to mind. I like to receive Abraham's daily quote and daily Intenders Messages/Reminders.

I'm trying to create a grassroots community good news online paper here, at OUR COLLECTIVE GOOD, gathering positive stories from many sources, updated daily, and will start breaking it down into categories. I also hope to create an OUR COLLECTIVE GOOD online paper for different countries, then states and cities. Bring it truly into the grassroots good community news realm.

Same general idea here at Wishadoo!'s Good News Page.

Hope that helps.

3. I'm going to check out all of the sites. I just got up (it's the next
morning)and I'll check them all. OGR, you always have wonderful words of wisdom and I thank you so much. rosesaylavee, I'll check your site out as well, thank you very, very much. I just want a go to a site in the mornings where I can have achieve some peace before getting ready to go to my very intense place of employment. I want to make some major changes so I'm looking at all options. I LOVE Abraham so that's a great one to start off with!

4. what a good idea
I tend to start my day with a cup of coffee and the news, particularly DU, which can be a rather depressing way to start the day. Thanks for asking the question.

5. Matariki, that's exactly why I wanted some really feel good sites..
I just can't take the, as you so perfectly worded, "depressing way to start the day"(or forum) sites any more. I AM DONE. I have to raise my vibration, and I know the way to do it is to look at the good......

6. Last night ..

I needed something to read to fall asleep. I have lots of books going at the moment (blame Libra moon).

I wanted something "sweet". I didn't want to get stirred up or have to think. Spirit food?

So this morning I searched for 'sweet stories'.

Jackpot on the first link.

http://dontcatchme.wordpress.com/category/short-sweet-touching-stories/

An old man lived alone in a village. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation:
Dear Son,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren’t in prison.
Love,
Dad

Shortly, the old man received this telegram: ‘For Heaven’s sake, Dad, don’t dig up the garden!! That’s where I buried the GUNS!!’ At 4 a.m. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.

Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asked him what to do next.

His son’s reply was: ‘Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad.. It’s the best I could do for you from here.’

Moral:
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD, IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART YOU CAN DO IT. IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS.. NOT WHERE YOU ARE OR WHERE THE PERSON IS….
