Obama is in a double whammy between Neptune and Chiron in Pisces
The red arrow indicates where Neptune and Chiron are now.

He's nearing his Chiron return too. All signs of the peacemaker. And his mild Moon in Gemini is getting strong effects from Neptune.
Neptune opposes Pluto, "think before you push the button."

It's trying to influence him to be the "mediator" and "peacemaker" and "compromiser". See how they are squaring his Midheaven-nadir axis too. This will go on for 2 or 3 years.

He's in a non-confrontive mood, you might say. I can't judge it.

1. thanks rick...
is it possible to look at a transit of Obama and the upcoming election? it's silly but i'm curious...wonder what aspects he will have to use for his benefit in the next year...

honestly, the debt talks, ss, etc. have me thinking that this is part of the upcoming unraveling that we are all going to have to ride through anyway. We may huff and puff at the crumbling, but it is part of the shift, so obama's place in it may be just to hold the place of rationality as the rest of us run around with our hair on fire...

but i am interested if he gets re-elected, whether he will have a re-birth of sorts...and be a different type of leader by dec 2012?

2. I have no idea if he'll be re-elected.
The continual pounding of Neptune to his Moon and MC is awesome, let alone, rembember, Pluto is approaching direct opposition to the USA's Sun in Cancer. It doesn't "look" good. But, I believe, no one can tell the future per se. Maybe I'm wrong.

I hope he wins, think of the awful Repo choices, yuck!

3. I know, the alternatives are scary
actually...it's all pretty scary if you ask me... :scared:

but that's why we are here to comfort eachother and try to see the shift for what it is...a real change of scenery. even though it may get pretty dark for a while before the sun comes out...

hey, side question.... is there any indication in his chart that he is under duress from the PTB?

4. The alternatives are too scary for me.
I feel so confused with this whole thing. I really believed he would change things, but I also know he would be up against so much. I listen to all these different reasons, and it just confuses me more, I can relate to every one of them. I just joined rebuildthedream.com. There are so many people that want him to fail, and they have the media, and all the governors spreading the propaganda. I have to give it one last shot. Maybe, if he had as many people pushing him to do whats right, as there are wanting him to fail, it will give him the umph. he needs. I don't know, it looks like a bad situation, but I can't just give it up to the repubs, they are dangerous. And its not just him, I would be doing this for any Democrat that was in office, they are trying to get rid of us. I want us all to get a spine. We want him to, but where is our tea party, we need to be the change we want to be and not expect someone else to do it for us. They are fighting so hard right now, we are feeling defeated. I could go on and on. But I know how you feel. It's hard to watch.

6. I see, powers that be
Edited on Sat Jul-09-11 05:39 PM by Ricochet21
They are all CLEARLY represented by the Pluto transit. Pluto will be pressing the USA's sun soon. That'll be huge. What's happening is clear and takes no astrologer to see it. After the veils have been lifted, we see the PTB controlling everything and threatening life as we know it on earth. It's that simple.

That's why the big traveling T-square to Pluto for the next few years.

And in Obama's chart, transiting Chiron and Neptune are on the corner of his natal T-square with Pluto.

It's all confusion and disinformation spread by Faux, et al, keep us fighting one another while they (Exxon, BP, Wall St) rape the rest of us with fear.

Are we going to stop them or not? There's only one question. They own all the politics and elections.
Anyone have any hot ideas?

13. personally
I think the only thing that will end up being more powerful than the PTB is Mother Nature.

Climate change and polar shift will be the thing that changes all the rules. They will realize that all their money or secret bunkers or whatever they THINK they control is bullshit compared to the power of cosmic forces.

it's gonna be a bumpy ride, but it will also be a great equalizer...

in fact, i think the only thing that comforts me is that the earth will level the playing field. wars and money and debt won;t mean much,

yikes, not a fun scenario...but it's not called an evolutionary bottleneck for nothing

I am also intrigued by the geometry of the lines- a bit like diamonds....I forgot what diamonds represent. I bet someone here knows.

8. The real problem facing us from this man
Is the wide aspect Jupiter in Aquarius to neptune in Scorpio Square.

Those people are charming but are not trust worthy.

He is merely the smiling face that the Powers that Be need in place to hand us their shit sandwich, and claim that it is Mmm-Mmm good.

12. To true
it is a wide generalization to categorize anyone with Jupiter [] Neptune thusly. While they do have a tendency to get lost in "cult" like situations, that aspect must be weighed against all of the other aspects in his chart. I agree that his t-square to Neptune has always been problematic and questionable. I've had my eye on that since he ran.

You may be right, but it's not because of one aspect. Millions of people have that.

Good day.

10. Thanks, Ric.
I get non-confrontive 'cause I'm often there, and happy that PrezO is there as confrontation w repugs often/always bad news, imo. The whole sounds good to me, constructive, lots of positives possible (in spite of/ignoring all the negatives about him heard/seen on DU.)

15. No matter what anyone thinks about the President
Life in this country won't be worth living if one of those Repukes gets elected. We would go from someone that feels he has to compromise to the PTB to someone happy to blow them every day of the week.

17. Perhaps the Democrats in Congress can grow spines
and not rubberstamp Obama's "deals". That is the issue-- where is the opposition party representing the people? At least we had some push back to Bush's policies-- his push to privatize SS hit a wall. When a democratic president pursues Bush's same policies there seems to be little push back from the other legislative branches of government and that pisses me off. For once I'd like an antiwar candidate-- why can't the Chiron peacemaker aspect influence Obama there? We need a bold defender not a sniveling equivalancer. That is how I feel and I am not apologetic about my strong opinion. He does not get a break from me. All the money that was spent getting him elected could have provided homes and food for people. People sacrificed their little resources and their time and energy for him--they wanted change, they had

Enough!

and this guy blew it.

What is going on now, just more theatre. The fix is in.

The country is ripe for a populist candidate. If no one shows up... in 2 years we will be ripe for civil unrest.

19. I believe
compromise is the best we can hope for. I just don't think the people can stand up in this country, the majority of us have even less spine than the Democrats in Congress, we cannot see clear to rock the boat on anything of scale. I have very little faith in the people of this country, and given that, the alternative is the horror of the Republicans. I don't see how there could ever be civil unrest here again unless it was orchestrated by the PTB in some fashion, like the Tea Party was. I feel like a lot of road blocks to that were put into place after the Viet Nam era.

I don't think anyone need apologize for anything the feel strongly, btw. No one sharing strong feelings of a non-mainstream created variety is one of the problems we have in the US.
