Support from the Archangels.

Wednesday, I had foot surgery. Been putting it off for over a year & realized it was my last chance to have it b/4 my "good" insurance expired after my early retirement. I'd even considered not having it at all, because I needed to find another job rather quickly. (Or so I felt.) Anyway, decided on June 28 to try to get it done since ins. will expire on Aug. 31.

I've been asking for help from the Archangels lately....not necessarily for specific things, just assistance in finding my place in this world. I specifically ask Michael, Raphael, Uriel, Gabriel & Bridgit for their help. Before going under the anesthesia, I specifically asked for their protection & assistance w/the surgery, especially Raphael. (In all honesty, I wasn't sure I wanted to make it back out on this side after it......things have been so crazy & weighty lately.)

In the recovery room, my doctor told me EVERYTHING had gone PERFECTLY! All the instruments were aligned exactly as she liked them, the assistants were the ones who work the best w/her, and to top it all off......(drum roll).....when she got in there, she discovered she only needed to do HALF THE AMOUNT OF SURGERY SHE HAD ANTICIPATED!!!!

When I returned Friday for follow up, she said everything looked fantastic. Since the surgery wasn't nearly as intrusive, I can expect a quicker recovery. YEAH! She even seems amazed by how wonderfully this has evolved; she keeps repeating how well it has turned out! I've not shared my "secret" w/her, because I'm not sure she would "understand".

I'll try asking for archangel assistance on a regular basis. I've called on thier help for special things, but it would be good to invite them in more often.

and I'm glad you are doing so well. I too am searching for my "true" path and I am sure we are on our way.

I've been asking the Archangels while I have them for my five days to do other things for me that are not in my prayer envelop. I know they don't mind, as just getting asked at all is wonderful for them.

As for whether your doctor would understand, do what you think is best. Maybe get a t-shirt with Raphael on it (or something similar.) That way, if she asks, you can explain :)

BTW, I don't have the angels that are being passed around here lately at ASAH; I simply asked these Archangels on my own. I didn't ask for our angels here because I wasn't sure how I'd be while having & recovering from surgery. Pain meds don't make for the clearest of thinking! LOL
And I didn't want to "waste" them when someone else could benefit more. ;)

I am so glad your surgery went so well and you are recovering well.

Maybe you were supposed to have this time to think before acting on something new? Who knows?

Approaching it like it's a blessing to allow me to meditate & relax to gain better insight. Goddess knows I wouldn't take the time to do it properly unless I was forced into it. I'm just too much a doer otherwise. :hi:

There's nothing they can't do, if we remember to simply ask for help and/or give them permission to intervene in our lives. (I'm a huge fan of Brigid too; she always gets included when I chat with the angels.)
