Remember my post about the Camino?

Well, the movie made by Martin Sheen & Emilio Estevez is finally going to be released starting in October. They were filming it in September-October 2009, when I was walking the Camino. I never saw them, but I did see the second unit out on a couple of occasions. Here is the website for the movie that includes the preview. (the preview says the Camino has been walked for over 1000 years, but that is only in the Christian era. There is evidence that this Way was walked during pre-Christian days & in fact, one of the areas you walk through has been occupied by humans & their ancestors for at least 1 million years--Atapuerca, just outside Burgos.)

that looks amazing. I remember reading Shirley MacLaines book "The Camino" about her journey, years ago, it was the first I knew of this.

it has motivated many more to walk the Camino & experience it. If it's motivated you to learn more about the Camino & possibly walk along it or part of it, that's great!
