Normally I never do this, but...light and strength, please?

Majorly needed. Yes, for me. Just for today (and tommorow, if you can spare it). Mostly strength. I had an unfortunate run-in with an abusive family member today--one who had to be removed from my life a looooong time ago because of his negative influence in it. Short conversation, but it wasn't pretty. I will be spending the rest of the afternoon/evening trying to heal, and could use a 'push' of positivity from any psychics here to assist me in getting through that period. I'm trying to make a lot of changes in my life at the moment, and the stress of this encounter is--it's not the end of the world, but it's a setback. Thanks for all who can spare the energy, you're great.

I can understand the stress of which you speak...right now, because of financial constraints, I have to live with a family member who was abusive to me in the past (and still has not changed ways, though I'm older and have at least more personal power). Hopefully, within a couple of months I'll be out of here.

I hope it's just a slight blip, and you'll be back on track soon enough.

I also feel that this blip was a blip, if an unpleasant one. Best of luck to you in getting through your situation, as well.

but it is now my intention to do this. I ask that the Universe provide to you the strength that you need to recover and learn from this encounter so that you are a stronger person because of it and so that you are one step closer to permanently resolving this issue so that this person no longer wields power over you emotionally. (This or something better for the highest good of all involved.)

Sometimes we do a lot of work to heal old wounds, old pockets of pain.

Later all the pain is triggered again. Was the healing for naught?

But I think it's like we excise the tumor and the metastasized seeds of it are still there, they gather...and when we face them again it's a chance for more healing.
When we call for healing...the pain needs to come up to be healed, all the hidden corners.

So maybe this wasn't a set back but a step ahead, hard as it felt. Symptoms of healing can look like symptoms of illness as the negative energy is released.

I got a chance to check in with a counseler and my Tarot reader yesterday. Both helped me identify ways for me to continue to make the kinds of mental health and spiritual decisions that can keep me from being so negatively influenced by well, for lack of a better term: Bad people. I'm feeling a LOT stronger today as a result of everyone's support.
