A crystal query? Or, a funny thing happened on the way up the stairs ...

This semi-pertains to Eloriel's Feng Shui threads we had going awhile back -

Harking back to the threads (saved on my hd!), this last weekend I started another round of smudging & de-cluttering. Dug out some of the extra crystals that were laying in their box, waiting for the de-cluttering to be finished (pffft - that's an ongoing/never finished project, like painting the Golden Gate Bridge!).

Soooo, I went ahead & hung some in the places that felt like they would be most useful in breaking up stagnant energy - thinking it would possibly be an aid in the process. I actually did make good headway - I tossed bits I didn't even know I still had ... ie hospice paperwork from when my grandfather lived w/us a few years back. He passed on @ 2 years ago, & I'm still finding the odd bits. Paperwork, diabetic meters & supplies, his nightsleep beanie! An embarrassing amount of stuff, serving no purpose other than to make me want to move! LOL! I do my 'bestest' de-cluttering when moving house, but not an option right now!

This is good ... this is very good - I like the loosening we're getting from it. The part that was really odd was my grandson, walking under the crystals, sets them spinning like a top! It stops after he passes, no one else has that effect - just the pubescent wonder! My 1st impression - all that inner turmoil that comes w/being 14 (15 on Sunday!) the boy is like a walking mini energy-quake!

The crystals that react to him are the clear ones, which I'm of the impression amplify & concentrate (or is it focuses?). I'm pretty sure he doesn't need any amplification of the 'chaotic' energy he's sorting through at this point, so I wondered if any of the group has a thought of the kind of crystals that would be of benefit for him? He has the normal stuff that kids sort through at this age, which I think he's doing a pretty good job of handling - he's one of the most self-aware people I've ever had the pleasure to have in my life! But he also has alot of pretty harsh & hurtful experiences, the kind that adults sometimes can't get a handle on - birth defects, parental abandonment (& drug use), poverty stresses (kids know, no matter how much you try to protect) ... & he seems to have weathered it all well.

But, the big one in the back of my head, but ... I worry that he's just bottled up the stresses & that's part of the whirling, swirling energy he's sparking?

We actually had some fun w/this yesterday - taking turns walking under the main crystal on the stairs in front of the front door. I truly thought he had bumped it or smacked it w/his head & jumped his butt @ it - till he walked over & stood under it to prove his head didn't reach! While he's standing there saying "See, my head don't reach!", I'm watching the crystal go faster & faster! It looked like it was gonna come right off of the nail, spinning round & swinging at the same time!

Should I change color (maybe purple for his room?), location, etc? Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome! In the meanwhile, I'm also searching the archives!

(Man-o-man, I thought girls were tough nuts to raise ... I'm certainly getting an education raising a boy! The sensitivity is just as high!)

It's not a worry, really - just odd because it was so unexpected! Odd is almost normal around here, but that's one you just couldn't see coming!

The purple I had in mind was amethyst. From your look-see it sounds like the white might be good for him, though. Quartz for emotional balance & anxiety in the family areas - maybe the amethyst for his bedroom for calm, reassurance & protection? He's getting interested in fantasy-type (xbox game stuff) jewelry now, so I think we could make a family project of incorporating some of the various stones I've collected over the years. I picked up some citrine & smoky quartz for him @ 5 years back (told you - I have alot of bits & clutter, some of it's good stuff!) & never got around to doing anything w/it. Didn't even think of it till after I posted & got off-line today - that's one of the best things @ this forum. Thinking out loud here stimulates the process & leads to more ideas!

BTW, when he came in from school today - nada! And he was in a fine state of mind, very calm & laid back! I told him the crystal over the door is going to be his own personal 'mood ring' - it'll let me know whether he's fit for company or in a hormonal rage at a glance, LOL! He was not amused ... said it was no fair 'peeking'!

His birthdate is April 23, 1991 & my youngest girl's is April 23, 1979 (his auntie, not his mom) so maybe citrine for both!
