Normally, I don't go to bed when normal people do because I'm always doing chores at late night. I'm a bit odd that way. I actually went to bed early because for the last week, I have been VERY ill to the point where I was really wondering if I was going to leave this place at one point, due to my "stepping out" of my body. I have severe ulcer disease. I really hadn't eaten anything truly solid for over a week and finally broke down and did last night. I regretted that almost immediately. I finally went to bed at about 12:35 am, (really early for me), with the intention of arising before my husband to prepare his lunch, (I admit it, I'm a middle of the night chef and baker)
Anyway, I kept dreaming about my mother as I have for the last week almost every time I close my eyes. I also kept waking every couple of hours. I woke up ata about 4:00 am and looked over at my husband, whose head was about 18 inches from mine. That's when I saw one of the strangest things I have ever seen.
Coming from the forhead and temples of my sleeping husband's head was some kind of white mist or smoke, in slow gentle licks and puffs. VERY reminiscent of the way incense smoke wafts up. But here's the weirdest thing, this "mist" was defying gravity. Instead of wafting toward the ceiling, it was actually drifting up his head, as if he were standing up, going in the direction of the headboard, exactly, perpendicular to the direction smoke usually drifts when arising from something lying horizontally.
This so startled me that I actually blinked my eyes twice and still, the mist was coming from him head. What was this? Was I watching him leave his body? Was I watching something having to do with his aura? The smoke didn't glow at all. What was this? It has me a bit worried, I'll confess.. any input is greatly appreciated.
