Friends from the DOA discussions and other Lightworkers

I am just bursting to share this with you guys, for today I met my very first Ascension/Light Worker in PERSON!!!!!!

I came in contact with fellow "Mystics" and like-minded friends here on DU in the Meeting Room and now in this Group (and a few others), and a few months ago in the discussions on Michael Sharp's "The Book of Life" I was introduced to this Ascension stuff...which felt incredibly familiar to me while also being very mind-blowing.

I have no one in my daily, "real" life to talk about this stuff with, and had never even seen someone who is into this material in the flesh....:D:D:D

But today, a day like any other day, I took my dog to the park and met a couple there with their dog...nothing unusual...started chatting as dog-lovers usually do. She is an American woman married to a German living there - and they had come to The Hague today - all the way from Germany - to go to the beach during the storm we are having now....there was too much sand blowing there so they ended up in this park where I often walk and play with my dog free of her leash.

One thing in our communication lead to another, first through mention of the political situation in the US to our dogs and our loving bonds (and ESP) with them....until I asked her if she was into the Ascension and she replied "Yes!"

I won't bore you with the entire conversation, but I tell you, it felt like I had met up with a dear friend who I had known for life, and everything about her felt comfy, loving, familiar, and in place to me. Many things we mentioned were very much the same - unimportant synchonicities and more blatant ones (like our Dad's both dying of brain tumors), and at the end of our walk and talk, she handed me her BUSINESS CARD with her name and Email on it:

Her business card, get this, with "Lightworker" on it like the "job" title...and her Email and site had Lemurian Dream on it.....:7

I was flabbergasted, as I had never even heard of Lemurian and Lightworkers until coming in contact with Michael Sharp's books and discussion here!

When we were talking a bit about the Ascension and I told her I had trouble imagining exactly what it IS, she just said nobody really totally does....and when I mentioned my wariness of talk of alien spaceships coming to earth within the next few years, she matter-of-factly stated that her job "is" to pave the way for the E.T.s!!!!!!! :silly: :silly: :silly:

This whole meeting was so perfect and fun and funny and really bizarre to me.

When we were parting, reluctantly, she asked me my name and I said "Barbara".....well, her name is "Barbara" as well. Uncanny, but actually not surprising either....

Anyway, I hugged her and her husband as we parted, telling her I felt I had found a dear, dear friend, and we laughed and promised to get in touch on the Net.

This just boggles my mind and thrills my heart so much I can't really express it properly.

My husband agrees that this encounter is pretty incredible.

I had never heard of this stuff before a couple of months ago, and now I find a person who really clicks with me and we talked as if this shared knowledge was "ancient" and matter of fact! (because we have lived with it on some level all of our lives, I believe!)

I wish I could DO something with this - so I am sharing this with you here...

When Michael said there were many people already spread over our world working on the Ascension I told him I had never met them, that it looked to me like more negatives were taking place - not much positive....no one I knew was into this stuff....then I saw how many here on DU are moving towards that direction, and now I have met one in the flesh!
And she and her hubby were just SO normal and nice....:D:D:D:D:D

What an incredible experience! You'll find it happening more and more now that you're open to it and are in sync. I've met so many folks here in L.A. who are lightworkers. I've also turned some people on to what I've learned. I'm glad it happened for you and get ready for it to start happening more! :-)

but it does feel like a big stepping-stone for me somehow.

I am so happy you met up with a real life lightworker...I have a feeling it is only the beginning...hee hee :)

I finally met somelike minded people back in the mid 80's and it was the most wonderful feeling to meet others who thought and viewed things the way I did. Then when I opened my little metaphysical shop in '90 I was astounded at the cpmplexity of synchronicity of people and events. It really is MAGIC!!

...and today you had your own magic!!! I know you have been wanting this and I am so happy for you!! :bounce::bounce:

All those similarities and synchronicity is a nice big affirmation for you. :) :)

I have had smaller synchronicities that thrill me, and always meeting up with a certain friend after I dream about her the night before....stuff like that.

When my Dad died and his wrist watch stopped a couple of minutes after his last breath, I also felt like it was a huge sign from the "other side"...

your experience/encounter - "I won't bore you with the entire conversation" - actually I would enjoy hearing the whole conversation, it's a fairly rare occurrence. I've had similar experiences, although mostly in different geographic regions. The place I'm living now seems not that good for synchronistic meetings, more of a hermit's haven. It is really encouraging and helpful to know that the ascension is proceeding in spite of whatever else that feels so dark and negative. I hope that you will have lots more contact with 'in the flesh' ascension people.

that is why you felt an instant affinity to her

it is my understanding there are several groups working at different tasks all over the world, but the universe causes those "coincidences" of group members meeting in unlikely circumstances (coincidences are God's way of remaining anonymous :) )

sounds like you needed some validation and the universe brought it to you. I'm so glad you had such a wonderful day and meeting with a "soul sister"

edit to add: maybe you could explore your reservations of talking of ET's contacting us? if you did meet a group mind sister, perhaps you are missing your "task" ?????

I do feel that all of us coming together on the DU boards is another wonderful tale. Who would have thought that a space such as DU would have opened the path for Ascesion and activation when first joining? I am blessed to know each one of you who shared.

I have not had anything similar in my area. I won't be here much longer; I'm moving this summer.

The closest I've come, believe it or not, is with a student. I've had the unheard of opportunity to teach her 4 years in a row in elementary school; that just doesn't happen, but it did with this student.

She is ten years old, and I believe that she is a light worker. She is one of the wisest, most compassionate people I've ever met. Watching her unfold from a tiny, shy, quiet little first grader (our school year started the Monday after her last Friday in 1st grade) to the confident, self-possessed, incredibly talented and profoundly empathetic young lady that she is has been an honor.

This is my last year with her, and I'm moving on to a different school, in a different state.

I look forward to whatever upcoming encounters are in the works!

had to do with my beloved dog dying last year end of February, and in my comfortless state of missing him desperately he sent Bonnie, my new dog, to me though the Internet. I felt this most strongly when I saw her picture and decided to react to the adoption request....

This Lightworker I met also had lost her dog around the same time and specifically told me that her dog also sent her her new one....

We both took our dogs to this park - she from Germany :-) - and we met at THIS moment in time......

All (partly) engineered perhaps by our LOVE for and from our beloved pets!
This feels so right to me to see it this way!

Moving is what you are intented to do now, LWolf - I'm sure that despite any anxiety you may have about it - you know this.

I find myself thrilled at the way things are coming together, and overwhelmed at the amount of work involved, all at the same time.

Last year was the year that convinced me that it was time to move on. I felt displaced, and my unhappiness at the changes at work were, I believe, the source of some serious physical ailments; I'm doing better all the time in that department, and much of that comes from distancing myself from involvement at work. I show up, I do my job to the best of my ability, and I say "no" when asked to do more or become involved in more. That's a daily "no." I started the process last spring, applying for a credential in the state I wanted to move to, sending in applications to school districts, etc.. It's a tricky matter of timing; you don't pick up and move mid-school year, and by the time I got all the transcripts from all the universities to send in for the out of state credential, I missed the hiring cutoff.

Still, my mom told me about a school in the area starting a program I have special training in, and I contacted the principal. He and I spoke off and on until last month, when he asked me to come do staff development for his staff next month! That's a great way to see me in action before the interview process begins in May. He has an opening for me, and when all the hoops have been jumped through, I hope it will be mine.

So, I have to put my house on the market, get it all packed, and figure out how to move all this stuff 900 miles, along with my 2 horses. I have to hope the house sells in a timely manner, and that I can find the right place for the right price up north. It will be a busy spring!

I can feel pulled that direction, even thinking about it. So I know the doors will open, and things will work the way they are supposed to.

I spent all day today doing just that, since I was stranded by flooded streets!

I've seen many that I'd be happy with, but none in my price range yet. I'm keeping the faith, that the right place will be there at the right time.

The "girls" are the horses. ;-)

My 2 children, all grown and on their own, are boys, as is my grandson.

I don't like having to schedule time in my day to drive out to visit them, as I've had to do the last few years. When my marriage ended, I couldn't afford a place to keep horses on my single income. I'm hoping to find a place up north to change that!

I've certainly had wonderful synchronicity in my life -- often. Not sure I've had QUITE such a bubbly, remarkable day, but close.
