Here we go again... Mercury goes retrograde once again. It happens 3 times a year and it lasts for about 3 weeks. This time is from October 28 to November 17, 2006. Next, from February 13 to March 7, 2007.

This is an important period, and we should be aware of the effects associated with this astrological influence. Since it is so often, we must learn what it means and how to take advantage of it.

Astronomical background

There is no real backwards movement of Mercury; it's just that we see it this way from Earth, because of the combined movement of the Earth and Mercury around the Sun. However, astrologically this is very relevant.

General influence of Mercury retrograde

Mercury rules over the mind's processes, studying, communication, businesses, travels and the like. When Mercury reverses its direction, all these areas are affected as well.

The mind turns naturally inwards and people tend to analyze more the own thoughts and follow the common thinking patterns, rather then be curious and eager of new intellectual experiences or challenges. This helps the meditation or the thorough lonely long-term study of a specific matter, but it affects the study of new subjects, the communication with the others, the attention oriented outwards.

. . . that I worry about. Remember November 2000 on a Mercury retrograde?

I have a lot of hope and I feel the "mistakes" or "recounts" could just go OUR way this time. Any thoughts?

I was worried that the "glitches" would be even more exacerbated, but you're right--Mercury ret could double-cross the double-crossers. I like it! :hi:

I know bunches of people who are voting early. It's a shake-up. No more mister big guy zipper pants. We will have a new day.

I feel a different energy. When the downfall spiral accelerated, I could feel that. This is not a downfall. We are going up. I will be soo disheartened if not. But my gut tells me true.

It's sort of "all over the place " and requires honing but it may result in something amazing.

repair people to my house 4 times this week because of problems with my Internet access. It was working perfectly fine before then.

a new modem. They will give you one. It pains me when we go galactic on Mercury. It gives us the fast go? And the pause that refreshes? No?

that were shipped. One is still lost in a US Postal Service warehouse somewhere.

In reference to the modem, I asked about that. I was already thinking that I'd insist that they replace it next time that they come, but they really don't think that it's the modem. If it is the modem, it was working perfectly fine until this week.
