Meditate with Me at Nine PM EST For Mideast Peace

I know the feeling. Dubya has the keys, and it seems like he's driving towards the edge of a cliff, and I'm heartsick-over all of the people who will die over fantasies and myths. Life is real, real, and full of people who need to live full and real lives. I've been thinking there has to be a way to concentrate our energies and be the powerhouse behind the outer manifestation of the anti-Iraq/an/who the hell are we fighting this week war. While I was heartened by the protests, we need to work more subltly behind the scenes.

Suggestions: For those of you who learned about prayer letters, write a letter to the angel of those who are making the decisions, that they act in the highest and best manner. To Maitreya to "seal the door where evil dwells". And join me at 9pm tonight for a meditation that takes us away from the edge, for the protection of the innocent, and a speedy end to the crisis.

May peace and justice, wisdom and compassion, fill the entire theatre of war. May people have the courage to forgive and to forget old wrongs, and to stop doing them. May people understand that there is but one God/ess, and all of the divisions are just illusions.
