Astrologers: Welcome to the Spring Equinox.
The Vernal Equinox chart is said to imply the events for the following three months.

something about this Spring Equinox chart speaks of financial & economic re-adjustments (read lies) which won't fly because Mercury is Retrograde.

As a matter of fact all those planets in the 12th
and Merc Retro there too - the worry is that the bad boys are re-conoitering, re-planning, the thing to do when Mercury is retro.

Saturn is square the Moon's Nodes and Mercury and square Jupiter forming a T square in the chart- so there is frustation in moving forward - makes sense with Merc Retro, but in this case it seems to me to be doubled.

But something is in this chart that bothers me more.

Mars is opposition the Moon -but more worrisome is that if you draw the chart at DC for the moment the Sun enters Aries Mars is at 0 Aquarius conjunct Chiron at 1 Aquarius -- in the 4th house.

And Mars/Chiron will oppose the Moon exactly around 9:30 PM on Saturday evening March 19th, the same evening Mercury Turns Retrograde at about 7:15 PM.

Since Mars in Aquarius is associated with earthquakes, accidents, and even attacks < in this chart set for DC Mars in the 4th house of "home" rules the Aries 7th house of open enemies> , these type of
events can be expected to occur in the US.

Welcome to Spring.

1. That is a lot of 12th house energy
also way too much Cardinal energy for these times (and for my comfort)

I don't have much time so this might be choppy, but I wanted to set down some thoughts and things I noticed while it is fresh.

Besides all the Aries energy we have Saturn in Cancer and the Moon at 29 Cancer. Jupiter is in Libra. And actually Mars has not quite reached Aquarius, it is at 29d 50"...so we have all the cardinal signs covered.

The Moon is in it's domain in Cancer and Mars in it's exaltation in Capricorn, so they are both very strong in that tight approaching opposition at critical degrees. And the Moon is out of bounds by declination..
I don't like that either in the 4th and 10th house.

I don't do mundane astrology, just know some rules or meanings of it. I look at Saturn at the 4th cusp and know a malefic in 4th can "afflict the government" by its opposition to the 10th House.

But the 10th has its own malefic with Mars as most elevated planet, conjunct Chiron.

You mention finances,,,and we have that 12th house retrograde Mercury ruling the 2nd house...And mercury is not just stationary Rx, its in storm.

And Jupiter opposing Mercury is disconcerting.

Though...as you say maybe it will be a time of revealing and Jupiter will make it all the bigger.

The US is having it's Uranus square (transit 8 Pisces, natal 8 Gemini). I have no idea if that has meaning for a nation, but Uranus aspects to itself tends to be landmark times in the natal.

But mostly...I am feeling all this ENERGY! Besides cardinal signs and critical degrees we have all these planets at their peak of power. Mercury just retrograde the day before, Saturn going direct the next day and Pluto stationing Rx on 3-25...so they are all essentially stationary at the equinox.

That is quite a chart!
(Again I apologize for the rushed hodgepodge)

2. Merc Retro is upon us - and Mars Chiron on the 4th house -
indicative of injury to the home, in this case the home being America.

Time to resurrect the thread.

:hi:

3. When I wrote this on 3/3, who could have imagined the 4th house
I wrote this on 3/3. Who could have imagined the 4th house
activity of the Spring Equinox chart with Mars conjunct Chiron at 0 and 1 Aquarius would be about the open wound question of life or death.

**********

But something is in this chart that bothers me more.

Mars is opposition the Moon -but more worrisome is that if you draw the chart at DC for the moment the Sun enters Aries Mars is at 0 Aquarius conjunct Chiron at 1 Aquarius -- in the 4th house.

And Mars/Chiron will oppose the Moon exactly around 9:30 PM on Saturday evening March 19th, the same evening Mercury Turns Retrograde at about 7:15 PM. the day that Ms Schiavo's feeding tube was unplugged ? Does the Mars/Chiron represent an attack, violence against the feminine, or nurturing? Does Mars/Chiron represent a hurry to wound?

Since Mars in Aquarius is associated with earthquakes, accidents, and even attacks in this chart set for DC, Mars in the 4th house of "home" rules the Aries 7th house of open enemies , these type of
events can be expected to occur in the US.

***********

The 4th house also is the end of matters, matters of death (who would have thought it would be this?) - and since it is the fundamentalists who are fighting the courts and Washington, and because this Spring Equinox chart represents the next 3 months, although some say the year - - - the liberal left may have new allies
in unseating the administration: would you believe the fundamentalists?

4. lets continue with summer equinox and more astrological postings
Since this forum is called astrology ....... I thought it might be nice to get back to some astrology threads

Chaos Theory and Astrology of the Early 21st Century*

http://astrologyguild.com/chaostheory.htm

<snip>
Astrological Overview 1980 - 2020

Now and toward the year 2020, we are in transition within several major astrological cycles and subcycles. The meeting of Jupiter and Saturn in 1980 and 2000 heralded a transition within their 800 year cycle together of global sociopolitical, cultural, and economic developments (4). Their current subcycle transition is from an emphasis on material development since 1842, to an emphasis on global social development - that of ideas, information, communication, and relationships - for the coming 200 years. This emerging development theme will be substantially defined by 2020 (Jupiter/Saturn Mutation Conjunction in Air), and it will continue into the 23rd Century.

Since 1995 and until 2008, Pluto’s travel through Sagittariuscorresponds to transformation of established belief systems, world views (including humanity’s place in nature), and international relations. Such a transformation is necessary to cultivate a planetary culture and sustain a burgeoning global population. Historic events in 2000 and 2001 that corresponded to Jupiter and Saturn opposing Pluto (5, 6, 7) were crucial challenges for transforming established world views. People of developed nations worldwide, and many developed nations governments, responded to these challenges with progressive values for peace, socioeconomic justice, and environmental preservation - values necessary to develop a sustainable planetary culture. Especially the US, Israel, and fundamentalist Islamic governments, however, have implemented reactionary policies of limited self-interests that are failing to meet humanity’s momentous challenges.

The travel of Uranus in Piscesand Neptune in Aquariusin mutual reception (8) from 2003 - 2011, corresponds to emerging collective forces that are mediating the transitions of the above Jupiter/Saturn and Pluto cycles, and of two additional major astrological cycles. The 2,160 years Astrological Age defined by the Spring Equinox is now transitioning from Pisces to Aquarius. We are also near the completion of the current 5,126 years Mayan creation epochthat ends in 2012. Thus, the current Uranus/Neptune mutual reception bridges the changing Great Ages of Western astrology, and the old and new Mayan creation epochs. This Uranus/Neptune mutual reception should be fully appreciated - it corresponds to both inspired, innovative group and collective endeavors, and to ruthless sociopolitical ideology and mass deception. Such polarization characterizes many major global developments since 2003, and it may continue to characterize global socioeconomic and political developments for decades to come.

Also yet to come are Pluto’s travel through Capricorn from 2008 - 2024, and the Cardinal Climax (9) of
2010 - 2015 . These astrological events especially indicate a fundamental shift in world socioeconomic and political order, a shift analogous to bifurcation in Chaos Theory.

5. 28 ERL - thank you for waking this thread up -Yes absolutely ASTROLOGY
I had forgotten I wrote that, as a matter of fact I dont remember writing it, but whoever wrote it, me or spirit working through me, I'm reading it and saying, Wow, I'm a pretty good astrologer. lol-lol-lol...

Yes, maybe we should go on with the summer solstice chart, but also with the Spring Equinox chart which some use as the forecast for the entire year.
Thanks 28 ERL

6. As JBNow mentioned above, Saturn was in the 4th house
in the Spring Equinox chart.

And look at what the un Supreme Court has done.

The people no longer own their homes ( Saturn in the 4th)...Corporations, land developers(Saturn) legally can say they want your piece of property because they'll build something ( ab bigger house, that will make more revenue for the local government.

This affects every homeowner in the country.

It appears to be true that the Spring Equinox is the forecaster for the year, although the supremes made this decision just as the Summer Equinox was coming into being.....ON A FULL MOOn AT 0 Capricorn.

Corporations trump the people.

7. 28 ERL, I dont know of the Astraguild above, but
it appears to be quite good. It's a long term view, and I agree with you, let's continue to break it down by short term.

No time right now, but I will look at the Summer Solstice chart and post.

Any you guys out there, who can do forecast for Summer Solstice, please do.
