Psychokinetic energy...I thought my son had it.

I've had some lights going off and on recently with no apparent explanation. I spoke with my sister about it and she suggested that maybe my autistic son (age 8) was releasing psychokinetic energy. Well, too many of these experiences seem to be when he isn't around, so it occurred to me this morning that it might be me.

Examples: lots of flickering lights, but only in the room I'm in. Sometimes I think the light in my laptop monitor might be affected, but I'm not sure.

I think all the bad Bushco shit going on has me worked up, and it's been worse lately with the Terri Schiavo/end of life issues going on.

What are your thoughts? Am I going nuts, or do some of you experience this?

My laptop computer is gone for repairs again, the 6th time out. I think I have burned it out with my strong energy.
I know that I spend a lot of time using it, and anything that I spend a lot of time touching eventually breaks -- sooner that it will when other people use it.

I have a similar effect on small tape recorders, electric typewriters, remote controls, etc. Anything my hands touch.
I'm either a bitch on wheels when touching stuff or I have a strong current.

I'm a novice. I didn't even buy this stuff until recently. My sis has been a lifelong believer. Can you explain that simply for me? I really appreciate it. It wasn't in the literature she sent me.

I used to have a dream about exploding lightbulbs that I never could understand. I never could find any meaning in it, symbolic or sexual or physical. Maybe it was a subconscious announcement that these things can happen. And yes, bulbs seem to burn out faster with me too. They break ahead of schedule for me all the time.

that always used to zap the office equipment when she got stressed and the techie's could never figure out what had caused the problem. And sometimes it was dramatic like big blue bolts of electricity shooting across the inside of a copy machine. After many years we got to the point where we would just glance at each other and smile at their puzzlement.
I used to send her outside to, what we called, "ground out" - She would either take her shoes off and walk barefoot on the grass for about 15minutes and breathe, or take time to do a little 'gardener work,' using her hands to touch some earth. It worked every time. I just used to cover for her and say she'd gone to the bathroom.

It's become a joke among my friends ("Don't even *think* about my computer!"), and it's definitely worse when I'm emotionally worked up, whether in a positive or negative way. I'm reluctant to speculate on what causes it, since my mindset runs more toward the scientific than the non-physical, though I do think some form of personal energy is involved.

Months ago, someone here at DU pointed me to some really interesting background for this phenomenon. It's called the "Pauli Effect" - named for physicist Wolfgang Pauli, who was eventually banned from his collegues' laboratories, because he'd screw up their equipment by his mere presence.

I'd never heard of it before. I know someone who blows out computers, light bulbs, anything electrical. I used to turn street lights on and off a lot. When I started consciously running energy in meditation and directing it and grounding, the effect decreased significantly.

However, fairly recently there's one light outside the building where I work, that it's been happening again. But this time, I think there's a mundane explanation--the light works on a daylight sensor and is mounted on the wall a short distance above the door; I think the effect started about when I changed my hairstyle from motley mop to pulled back pony tail; with more of my balding head exposed, I probably reflect just enough light to the daylight sensor to fool it.

I was at my dad's house. My mom lived there also before she died four and a half years ago. Her shower chair was still in the master bath's shower. I was showering there today and the light suddenly flickered on and off ALOT. I checked it after i got out of the shower. The switch had been in the On position, but it didn't work until I got in the shower. And it went out when I got out of the shower, and wouldn't turn on again. But I didn't feel anything. like a presence, and I usually do. So maybe it was PK (psychokinetic).

My partner made a crack about I must be a "jinx" when it comes to electronics. In two years, I have gone through 4 hard drives, I have had TVs turn off when I am watching them, and we have been in our current house only over a year or so, and have gone through at least 3 light bulbs in every room except the bathrooms. I don't know if it is PK or just being "out of whack." I know that all living things have an electromagnetic field, perhaps when things are 'off' the field is off? :shrug:

I also noticed your comment about dreams of "exploding light bulbs." It could be precognition or, as I do some dream analysis, it may be an extreme idea or thought has crossed your mind and it is trying to draw attention to itself. :)
