Light a candle for me please.
I feel good things coming for me this year ... I am applying for readmission to college. 10 years ago I was a college freshman and I had panic attacks that took over my soul and therefore I stopped attending school. My depression is like a demon that sneaks up on me and sucks all the energy out of me. And I can't let that happen anymore. It clouds me and I want to concentrate more on the good things that are happening in my life. So please send me some good karma energy my way . Thank you.

1. I will do this, CarolinaPeridot.
I am rooting for you with as much energy and light as I can muster. It would make me so happy to see you happy and content with your life. You deserve good things, and I'm visualizing them for you.

2. Oh, Carolina, you have those good vibes from me!

One month ago I successfully completed my university degree studies with honours, after a 30 year break after depression and panic attacks made it impossible for me to continue mine.

I also got pregnant and raised my 2 kids in those years. When they got older and I mustered up my courage, I enrolled back into University and after a 5 year marathon of effort - and one break in the middle when I had to withdraw and take a break - I DID IT!

Wishing you all the best with your endeavor here - I most certainly know how important this is to you in many ways. There may be some big hurdles along the way, but keep your eyes on the prize at all times, and take it step by little step.

I can hardly believe that I have accomplished this long longed-for dream!

Dealing with a menopausal brain of soggy cotton at this stage of my life made it doubly tough to concentrate sometimes, but, it CAN be done! :D

Good energy from me to you, dear,

DemEx

6. Thank you :)
I feel like my life has been on hold ever since I stopped ...

I had a free ride to NCSU - it was as if someone was looking out for me and helped me. I worked so hard in high school and made good grades. Some where along the line I went undiagnosed with depression and it blew up in 1998 and I scared me. It was'nt until about 4 years ago that finally calmed down... now I want to go back to school. I can't wait to get my degree. It will mean a lot more to me now if I were to have gotten it back in 2002.

8. Yes, and hopefully you will still be young enough to do something
professionally with your degree.

In my younger years I wanted to study Sociology or Psychology, so my degree now with some International studies included was slightly adjusted along the way.

All the best!
