4. I was going to change the subject to "Have at it, stella!"
However, these threads always make her miss cassie, so I didn't.

In honor of cassie, here are some of her heart "outfits" from last year:

And yup Dream I don't think I'll ever think of Valentine's day again without remembering how totally funny and adorable cass was about her treasured hearts.

This thread

is nothing special but if anyone missed it Republican Dad's brief performance here early yesterday was a total trip.

It's the first link on that thread.

8. Oh, is she one of those Pisces shoe freaks?
I know that Pisces rules the feet, and I've known quite a few Pisces who really do love shoes and who really love foot massages.

(My lips are sealed! :))

9. I never asked her if she suffers from the Imelda Marcos syndrome.
I know I do but more with suede boots. Then I wear the same three or four pair most days.

Thank goodness I'm masterful at consignment shopping. That might sound gross but it's amazing what I find with no wear on them whatsoever.

Just couldn't believe that I found Valentine's Shoes. LOL

OhioBlues started a really funny thread about shoes yesterday but I'm not finding the link right now.

DU is Mercury retro-ing out today. Yikes

10. I absolutely prefer consignment
shopping. I've made some remarkable finds. I love it. Things are unique, and in some places the prices are unbelievable.

11. First of all, one has to be in the right mood. My best find of late was kind of funny.
My son had found piles of really high quality stuff. He even found a T shirt made from bamboo that is so-o-o soft. I did a double take when I looked at the label. I never knew of textiles made from bamboo.

His eye for quality is really quite astonishing.

Well I couldn't find squat and was a bit PMS-ed out and foolishly indulging "I'm not worthy" sort of idiocy as we headed for the cash register with his haul.

Then there was a rack of incoming stuff and some purple silk caught my eye.

I took one look and didn't even need to try it on. I knew it was a perfect fit.

I got a phenomenally gorgeous silk suit for next to nothing. There was a slight water mark near the collar but I always wear scarfs so though it didn't matter, the nice ladies at the store reduced it further.

I've no idea why people pay full price for anything but socks, hose, and underwear when it comes to clothing.

It's so crazy.

12. In north Texas
I had several shops that were great. The ones I've seen here are higher priced.

I got a charcoal wool suit with a pipe skirt for $8.00!! That was several years ago and even though I'm not at the right weight to wear it, nor do I really have any where to go wearing a suit, it's a keeper. A short black velvet party dress for $12.00. A red sweater with multi color thread designs on it that I wear all the time. It wasn't much because I never paid much! I also got a little shirt/blouse suit for my son's graduation several years ago. It was less than $15.00.

It makes sense in a sustainable universe too, ya know. Recycle!
I would keep Raymo close at hand while shopping :D

13. Great scores
and I'll try and keep him close but he's got his license now so is more independent.

Yikes.

The only upshot of video games is they give them greater hand eye coordination as far as I can figure.

OMG that's crazy in itself.
