Transiting Mercury conj. Pluto opposes U.S. chart's Mars & squares Neptune

We'll see what today's news adds to that list.

But keep in mind that this is also a period of time when the progressed U.S. Moon, like the hour hand of a clock, is marking off the end and beginning of a cyclic U.S. pattern as it conjuncts the U.S. Sun and sets off it's natal square to Saturn...so I expect there to be some real long term significance to events now that express that square as well as the "new beginning" that accompanies a lunar return to the natal Sun:

And there's more triggering of that U.S. chart pattern as it is also hit from other angles of the chart as well: (posted previously in the Meeting Rm)

In late Nov./early Dec. in the U.S. chart the progressed Moon will conjunct natal Sun in the 7th Hs. Progressed Venus at 13 degrees Aries (4th Hs) is directly square the natal Sun (7th) and opposing natal Saturn (10th). AND transiting Jupiter will also join this busy T-Square as it conjuncts natal Saturn also during that critical Nov./Dec. period.

I think that T-Square of natal, progressed and transiting planets sets off the U.S. natal Sun square Saturn issues about authority and leadership domestically, form of government, as well as relationships vs. isolationism with other nations.


And let's not forget that Pluto opposes Mars again while transiting Saturn in the 8th Hs. opposes natal 2nd Hs. Pluto at that time.

Lastly, the progressed Mercury is conjunct natal Moon in the U.S. 3rd Hs.


And then there is the more abrupt and brutal Pluto/Mars and Saturn/Pluto oppositions as well, which as you said are significant in their own right.

in the Meeting Rm. It sure seems that the article in this post from 2003 about Putin and the Euro switch is coming true. He's been dangling that threat for some time now. It's also possible that as the world begins to divide itself up into currency/trading blocks, the U.S. might be attempting to pull the Western hemiphere nations together to form a block. I'm not sure how much luck they are having considering the negative undertones at the APEC summit last week......But I do know that China and the nations surrounding it are tossing around this idea, as is Europe and the Middle East. So it is likely on the table for us as well.

33. This very well might be the scenario for the upcoming Saturn/Pluto opposition. As I stated in my first post, above, the friction is between the 2nd and 8th houses of the U.S. chart, which among other things could bring a crisis in the area of shared resources (ie. the oil supply) forcing the U.S. to fall back on its own resources. The crisis could also be the economic impact of the falling Dollar vs. Euro trouble regarding the oil trade. It could also bring an end to long standing alliances with Europe. It's also possible that this is the reason many in the Dem leadership seemed as much behind the invasion of Iraq as the Republicans, and signed on for the war (rather than the other reasons given):

This is something I've been wondering about, tying the two incidents together, since they happened within a day or two of each other. I'm wondering if some of the "powers that be" haven't been sending some hints to the mafia dynasty that they're being targeted for assassination.

Well, it just seemed to me to be two "coincidences", concerning the bush boys' safety, in REAL close time frames to one another. Were these "shots across the bow"? Warning shots?

I'm wondering if there aren't some people out to get these guys! Of course, the world is currently FULL of people who want to get rid of them, but few in a position to be able to get close enough to do so. Besides, the bush administration has sure as hell pissed off the CIA lately.

I only wish that, if someone was going to be targeted with warnings initially, that they would instead pick on some of the "support group" neocons that are holding up the whole charade, and then expose the rest of them, including Sr. and Jr., for all of their criminal activity. Unless the criminality is exposed, I don't see how the country will ever recover from these people. If Jr. and Sr. were knocked-off, all that would happen is they would become legends of some sort, and martyrs for a cause. That wouldn't save our Democracy!! I want them ALIVE and in JAIL, NOT martyred.
