Monday . Moon's Day

Luna is traditionally associated with psychic and magical concerns, and with our human longings to shift our own energies as gracefully as the Moon seems to shift hers. The Moon is also associated with female fertility. That connection comes from the similar lengths of lunar cycle and menstrual cycle, and the shape-changing nature of pregnancy. Honoring their connection with the forces of Nature, many women now refer to their menstrual periods as their "Moon-time". The poetic "I'm on my Moon" is a marked improvement over the often derogatory terminology of times past.

The Moon's own day is appropriate to any work involving imagination, dreams, or psychic knowledge. It's also well attuned to issues of emotional health and healing. Not surprisingly, the Moon's day is also associated with magical questions of childbirth and female fertility.


Math Tricks
Nines
You can count to nine on one hand using the spaces between the fingers.

Casting out nines: When reducing dates and number for numerology, you may ignore nines. They cancel themselves out.
An interesting example:
459-3672 . Add the digits with 9 = 36 = 9
Add the digits without 9 = 27 = 9
If you ignore the nine and reduce the pairs of numbers remaining, they all reduce to 9.

There are other tricks with 9's that I don't have stored in memory.
