I, along with hundreds of thousands of people, did not take kindly to that remark (and she has said similar things before). The implication, loud and clear, was that she was staying in in case something happened to Obama.

I take it that you support Hilary Clinton; that's fine. But don't act as if what Senator Clinton said was "nothing" (as some Clinton supporters have said). It WAS and IS something, and that something is a dark and ugly thing.

To even say the word assassination in connection with a Presidential campaign is considered very bad form by a majority of the American people.

Hilary Clinton did not need to say that she specifically meant Obama. However, her message was received, loud and clear.

But the simple truth is that it isn't what she said.
