coming to theatres soon...pluto in capricorn

I know there have been threads about the coming transformation of government and big institutions. I'm not an astrologer, but am curious about plutos impact on individuals.

In looking back over my life, I've had several major shifts associated with Pluto's movement. I'm a scorpio sun, but with virgo moon and ascendent. So from little I understand it impacts my ascendent houses. The last big shift it made, into my 4th house (but Scorpios house of finances and earned income) started with a new job and major money, along with loss of my old friends...and then total loss of career and life savings, but with a new home and way of life.

This week it moves into my 5 house of creativity, pleasure and romantic affairs. It's pretty hard for me to imagine improvement there without major transformation in my life. I haven't had any romance in my life in a loooooong time, it seems as though every pleasurable pursuit that I've attempted to undertake in the past 8 years has come up short. Plus now I'm nearly flat broke while in school, so the only creativity I have time and energy for is maybe creative financing.

Anybody else anticipating or expected big personal changes?

But I am so ignorant about the ascendent stuff, and am hoping to learn more.

huge shifts in many many ways. For Scorpios like you it will in general be easier than for most people as you are used to its rulership. If you are following the voice in your head that says, "Sweeping changes are NECESSARY in this area or that area of my life", then you are on track.

It's that simple.

I just saved myself having to type 200 paragraphs, it my business, with all kinds of people, it's that simple. If you DON'T sense that sweeping changes are necessary and you feel honestly that you're not BSing yourself, then you'll be fine. THe fact that it's in SCORPIOS solar third house simply means your mind is deepening, in your natal 5th, it means you need to have MORE FUN!

even though you don't expect them. Pluto offers strong, karmic connections that are often life transforming. Pluto will transit my 8th house conjunct my natal moon, consider yourself lucky to have it in the 5th!

That may be a tough one. Its going to plop on my Mercury in Cap at 4 degrees. So far its conjuncted every planet now except for my sun.... and Saturn it wont hit this lifetime.

That would be me! Cap sun, Virgo rising, Gemini moon. I am looking forward to this transit.......

And I read my forecast every day, & know the transits...right now I'm having a Pluto/Uranus trine, but I don't know what house Pluto's in for me. Will one of astro.com's free charts tell me where my transits are?

Capricorn is in my fifth and sixth house, it appears Pluto will move into house six in 2012.

I am assuming that I have a chance to use my creativity before it tries to challenge my health and career for the next 12 years, is this correct? I am so green at astrology that I may not even know what I'm talking about here. :silly:

This is interesting:

Living 'in the Now' is really better suited to Pluto in Capricorn than to Pluto in Sagittarius, for Now we live in the Future (Sagittarius). Capricorn is Time itself. Collectively we will be living in the Now more and more our future depends on it. The past and its abuse of power will certainly be brought to light and cleaned up, but unrealistic visions of the future will also belong to the past.

We will handle the principle of living in the Now better; day after day we need to be aware of how we regard the world using our own reponsibility rather than someone else's, which is helpful to others. By the year 2008 I will start living in the Now, and I'll be discovering how this feels, this new period with Pluto in a new sign and in a new quadrant. My quess is that it won't be easy-going during the first few years as large 'tension aspects' will occur with Uranus, Saturn and Pluto in the cardinal signs in 2010. The world will change, that's a certainty.

Hopefully we will witness large corporations, so powerful now and misusing these powers, (and made up from the people who took over the power at the beginning with Pluto in the "fourth" house) go under in favour of a better use of power. A better use which is not at the cost of others, and which will show more responsibility for the environment in which we live and which we share with each other, and this will not depend on outside factors, but on us. Our status might become ruined, but that is 'only' ego.

Our soul will want to express itself and will call for us to join our inner being so that we will be able to stand strong and whole in the outside world - not with a false status, not under the yoke of leaders or even boards and committees busy only with attaining status. Actually, 'status' will be out of fashion once Pluto will be in Capricorn ... ah, what a liberation!

Here's a question maybe someone can answer.
Lately,my horoscopes seem to be about two or three weeks behind what is happening in my life.It's almost like I am looking at a diary instead of a forecast.
Anyone have any insight on this?

I'm sure there could be other explanations too though.

to an exact aspect one is generally 'in the process' of building aspect - i have found over the years that a building aspect either to natal/progress or long transits by outer planets are sensed strongly before any exact hits.

I have Capricorn on the cusp of the third house natally.

So, mind/siblings/local community/transportation and higher mind/publishing/mass consciousness/international travel?

The only prediction I will make off the top of my head is that my sister (Solar Cappy) will eventually become hugely influential in some way (fits with her current progress on her life path). I keep meaning to ask her if I can post her chart data here. It's pretty interesting.
