My 2008 Election Dreams

First off I would like to state that I originally was an Edwards backer, until he dropped out. Then Hubby researched Hillary and Barack's platforms which were almost identical. But we both decided on Barack because of his transparency in government. I liked Hillary and thought about supporting her, until she started throwing the kitchen sink and mocking Barack and his supporters. At that point I became extremely disappointed in her.

I therefore became a staunch Obama supporter. I got involved for the first time, going to training camps on how to conduct our Primary/Caucus Conventions. I went to an Obama rally here. I was thrilled I got the chance to see and participate in any election. So, I was thankful that the nominee hadn't been decided yet. :-) Otherwise no one would have bothered and wasted their time here.

I was stressing out and very anxious about the outcome of the election. I was so afraid that Hillary would win and sweep the Bush crimes under the Oval Office rug, just as Bill had done with Poppy and his years abusing our government.


Dream 1, occurred around February.

I was at some sort of climate convention and was approached by a towering man who turned out to be Al Gore. He reached out and took my hand and assured me everything was going to be alright.


Like I stated above I worked extra hard to become a Delegate for Obama. I ended up being our stand in Precinct Chair, because ours had vanished.
I wanted to become a National Delegate for Obama. I did manage to become my Precinct Delegate for the Senate District convention for Obama. I went on to my Senate District convention to become a State Delegate. I went on to State, but there wasn't enough Delegate slots for me to advance any further.


Dream 2, occurred around the first part of March.

I was in a convention like setting and I was scurrying around the corridors looking for a dressing room. I was anxious because Hillary was about to take the stage to give her concession speech and I was afraid I would miss it. I was dressed in worn out jeans and everyone was dressed in formal attire. I finally found a dressing room that was filled with extra formal gowns for people like me who wasn't prepared for such a fancy event. After searching the racks of gowns I found something suitable and put it on and rushed out the door. I made it to the convention floor just as Hillary was making her way to the podium. After her speech I went outside to glow in the nights moonlit night.


Dream 3, occurred around the end of March. Not sure what this dream represented.

The media was running around Texas chasing down trains looking for a girl who was suppose to be Obama's out of wedlock daughter.


Dream 4, occurred this past week. I have been trying to contact my Spirit Guides and was wondering what my Spirit Animal is but haven't had much success as of yet.

I was on my way home except the surroundings were more like going to our clients house. I came upon a house that was having an event and stopped there. I went inside and then proceeded to the outdoor area which had a steep incline. As I reached the top of the hill 2 Hawks with the heads of Owls flew about 10 feet over my head. I was facing East where the house overlooked a mid sized lake. The HawkOwls landed behind me and landed near an old cauldron that they had turned into a nest.

I became frightened that I was going to slip and fall even though I had been to this spot several times, but I realized that I wasn't wearing the same shoes that I normally wear when there, so I was concerned about slipping down the hill. Two men were sitting up on the retaining wall, but had started to leave. At this point I started making my way where they had been sitting. Then I made it back down to a very large courtyard where there was a band setting up their equipment.

I went inside the house and noticed tables were set up with food and some tables had books for a small donation. There was one book that really caught my eye but someone grabbed it before I had the chance to pick it up. He mumbled something about his niece probably wouldn't like it so he put it back down. I started to reach for it when another guy grabbed it and said something about having owned the book before. I lost interest in it as he seemed as though he was going to keep it.

I walked around observing everything around me and realized that I was at an Obama house party.
