twice yesterday something psychic happened

as usual just the little things, but one with a twist. I was for no discernable reason thinking back fondly to Y2K. A moment later I went to my facebook page and one of my friends had posted some reminiscense of Y2K.

Last night, I watched a free "on demand" movie with my son. It was "Tremors," which we consciously selected from the list (campy, but I still like it). Two hours later when it was done I hit the button to go back to the channel we were watching before the movie. There it was again, about 40 minutes into the film, playing on the other channel! I thought at first I had restarted the on-demand function somehow, but they were playing "Tremors" on whatever cable channel as well. Here we had chosen it, but it was going to be on anyway, on the channel we had been watching!

Truly little psychic snaps, but I love it when stuff like that happens.

My subconscious was tuning in to my son's Spongebob episodes again (possibly the most entirely useless way to employ psychic ability, IMO)--once again I knew which one was going to come on, even from the kitchen at the other end of the house. Well, nobody ever said practice drills were going to be deep and meaningful...

that's a great way to think of it. Problem is, I'm not sure I will recognize the real event when it hits me.
