First crop circle of the year

"The first formation of 2009 has occurred once again in Wiltshire, not far from the Ancient Standing Stones of Avebury. Located next to an ancient burial mound, once again we see the continued connection to important ancient sites. A befitting start to what I'm sure is going to be a fascinating season."

know when to quit? :) :)

I'm sure some of the crops circles are hoaxes, meaning made by humans. I'm not convinced that all of them are, although I don't personally have any good theories about them.

Understated, but powerful. This symbol resonates with me very much but I can't quite figure it out. It's like it's on the tip of my tongue...can't recall...ugh... :banghead:

I also like the interpretations on the site, about it looking like a lighthouse lens, the XM Satellite logo (both ways to communicate), and like looking down on a pyramid from above (my personal favorite).

Interesting you mention a labyrinth--I just finished reading Kathleen McGowan's second autobiographical novel, Book of Love, and the Chartres labyrinth plays a prominent role. I've never walked a labyrinth, but I'd like to. A local church does one every Christmas season; I think I'll visit it this year.
