Chief Justice William Rehnquist to retire tomorrow - Uranus
Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 05:38 PM by Pallas180
square Uranus.

It's all breaking apart.

You feel like yelling, what the hell is going on ? !

On edit: Mars transits the April eclipse point of 19 Aries on Sunday. That could be one explanation. Strong early reactions.

Word of Caution. Mars is transiting at 17 Aries (and squaring Mercury in Cancer at 24 degrees (of transportation) in a few days.

Most important Mars will meet the USA's Chiron of "wounding" by the 11th and 12th. Caution in travel in the USA. Be alert.

At the same time Hurricane Dennis has caused the evacuation of Key West. It's supposed to go to the Gulf, but we have seen last year that doesn't always happen.

If Florida is some 75 miles wide and Dennis is 150 miles across and expected to be a category 3, the East Coast is being told to watch the news.

1. I didn't think that Rehnquist retiring was unexpected,

given his health problems. O'Conner's was a surprise, as far as I knew. Hasn't it been a long time since there was a vacancy? Longer than average?

You must have a wide orb on tMars applying conjunct nChiron, Are you that early to suggest the moon cycle or as a trigger?
I am using Astrolog with the extended ephemeris files, and it appears that there may be a few days of difference (about 10) between it and Rob Hand's Timegraph software, at least with respect toward Chiron. (not sure yet) Hand's Chartwheels won't graph Chiron or any other asteroid, evidently, even though the option appears selectable. Argh!

From Astrolog:
There's a curious heliocentric pattern between nUranus/nMars and tUranus/tMars. Exciting.

2. S.T., Here's the Gemini Rising chart of the birth of the USA

In this matter, Transiting Uranus which is at 10 Pisces in the 9th house of higher legal matters (and politics) is squaring the Uranus rising 8 Gemini in the first house (personality, character) of the chart. Two degree orb is fine, and Uranus always has a kick - so until it's 3 degrees past, it's not through with surprises/upsets.

Each planet has more than one meaning, as does each sign, right?

So in this case, O'Connor was a surprise,an upset and Rehnquist who has decided to be stubborn and fool everybody, could be thought of as
Uranus sq Uranus, the breaking up/shattering of the Court.

As I said, wouldn't it be something if they all quit in protest?

4. Still no word on Rehnquist.
In answer to you question,"Yes," there is more than one keyword assigned to each planet or other body. Signs add another color to the appropriate keywords to use. Houses a third. AFAIK.

One curious thing about the Gemini chart above is that it appears to use the equal house system, which doesn't give a particularly good abstract of the relation of the Earth to its daily spin about its rotational axis. This also affects the houses.

There are a number of different charts for the July 4th date, the signing of the Declaration of Independence. I note in the Gemini USA chart (Declaration of Independence) there are several 5th harmonic conjunctions in the natal geocentric to transits, and quite a pattern in the heliocentric, which can be examined more closely in higher harmonics. On the most intriguing day (to me), July 18th, there are various planetary synchronic waveforms. It will be an interesting and dynamic day beginning early in the morning, EDT. I also think whatever the heliocentric chart is telling me, it begins around the 16th or thereabouts and evolves over the next several days. I haven't yet studied interpretive events in the geocentric related to these dates. You note natal Uranus square transiting Uranus, and the heliocentrics confirm this, though it barely scratches the surface of all the dynamics over several days. It is what I alluded to with my Uranus/Mars comment above.

Another curiosity about the Gemini USA chart and the Supreme Court: I'm not convinced that the Declaration of Independence signing is the best chart to use in relation to the establishment of SCOTUS. Certainly it's a 'legal' document, but when was the SCOTUS established? Articles of Confederation? U.S. Constitution? I suspect the latter, but only because I'm more familiar with it than with its predecessor. If I remember, the Articles of Confederation were stronger in States rights, whereas the U.S. Constitution represented the establishment of a more centralized government. According to: http://www.supremecourtus.gov/about/about.html the Constitution of the United States is listed first. According to this PDF: http://www.supremecourtus.gov/about/members.pdf the first Justice started tenure in 1789. So, I think we have a partial answer.

5. I am trying to remember who it might be who uses the
Articles of Confederation and has found significance in it for many things.

I thought that might be the Scorpio Rising chart, but no, that one's based on the July 4, 1776 date. Here's WolfStar's explanation of why he prefers a Scorpio Rising chart:

6. Opps - not YET!
Better re-look at your info!

I thought that it was near-impossible to predict such short-term time-line things or things of an exact nature?

If I've been reading things correctly, the best that can be decerned is a "trend" or a "direction" - not something "specific".

Looks like all the others with "inside" info were wrong, too.
