Please hold good thoughts
This morning, one of my daughters ran over our 8month old doggie, Huckleberry. It's daughters birthday so I'm paying for his vet bill as her present. He's sore, many abrasions and bruises, but hopefully is okay other than that.

He's been to the vet already and is home with me for observation. The main thing I have to watch for is any damage to the bladder. So I gotta observe him pee and make sure everything works okay. He's got pain meds (doggie vicodene) and is lying next to me resting now.

Please think ggod thoughts for Huck. Okay, the first time I wrote that it came out "Please hold god thoughts" so do that too.

Precious little thing. I am so glad it wasn't even worse. I hope the Huck-dude gets to feeling better soon.

What kind of dog is he?

4. he's a yellow lab mix that looks a lot like
the Marley and me dog. We rescued him after he was abandoned out in the country.

I'm so sorry that this happened. :( I'm so glad that it seems as though everything's going to be OK, and he'll be up and about very soon.

What a terrible thing to happen on your daughter's birthday. I feel so bad for her...
