Websites/Books on Herbs
Greetings all,

I'm looking for some good web sites or books (but preferably web sites) on growing herbs. What I'm looking for, specificaly, is

1. Planting times and best practices
2. Average size of a typical plant of it's variety
3. Information on culinary and other uses for herbs (not recipes or anything, just common usages)
4. Drying/Preserving practices

1. Garden Web has a wealth of information on numerous topics
including Herbs and Growing from seed. Just browse, search and ask questions....plenty of people that might be able to help.

As far as saving seeds(your previous post on saving seeds), I save mine in the freezer in an air tight glass jar. I wrap about a tablespoon of powdered milk in a tissue(absorbs moisture) and place it in the bottom of the jar then I put in the seed packets....I've had fairly good luck doing it that way.
