my new herb bed
I (with help of course) built this bed from grape vines. I'll line it with weed barrier mat then fill it with dirt.

This design is from England and is called a wattle bed.

It was really easy. The only hard part was finding enough materials. It took a couple of "raids" on the forest.

When we finish the fence, I am going to be so jazzed. I'm repeating the pattern on the other side of the garden and am putting a chicken house somewhere in here too.

Lovely and very nice. It looks like a giant birds nest at this point -- just fill it with some straw and put some giant styrofoam eggs in there and you'd have quite the Halloween conversation piece.

10. I just love that! Please share some more about your process.
It reminds me of some of the designs done with willow branches, only larger scale.
I know a good source for grapevines, so I'd really enjoy hearing more about
how you went about this project and what kind of help you needed to accomplish it.
