1. Sounds nice.
I've grown most of those at one time or another.

Are you in the midwest? I can think of a few other plants that are really nice in addition -- cup plant, various types of blazing star (Liatris), ironweeds, pearly everlastings, bonesets and Joe Pye weed, Indian Paintbrush (but that one is really tough to get going), several species of native sunflowers and milkweeds (other than your butterflyweed).

5. Have you tried Meadow Sweet?
I'm sitting here drooling all over the Dutch Gardens catalog. The meadow sweet is so pretty, as is the new lavander monarda and the sea lavander. I can't wait to get my garden and lanscaping started. New home, new yard, I'm worse than a little kid at Christmas!

4. And deer repellant!
The naturalist at Cleveland Metroparks said deer were a real menace at his prairie restoration project.
