My peppers suck this year but tomatoes are doing okay(pics)

My sun shade has helped. I also didn't pinch off all the yellow tomato flowers like in years past. It has gotten too hot too early for the the last couple of years. It was 98 today. All my peppers died twice and I had to start over. I have no idea why. I did everything like in years past on the peppers.

Here south of San Francisco we had a brief glimpse of it the other day.

I'm jealous - my tomatoes are barely 6" tall after 4 months. At least they're doing better than the peppers. Your crop looks wonderful.
