I'm so excited about my liquid worm poop!
Hey has anybody heard of this "terracycling" brand liquid worm poop??

I bought some at OSH today -- I already dig the worm poop soil amendment in, like the kind that comes in the bag, but this stuff is like liquid fertilizer that comes with a sprayer. Like Miracle Gro, except, no chems at all, you connect it to the hose and feed everything that way.

And, and, they package it in used soda bottles! It says on the label they aim to be a "zero footprint" company eco-wise, made in the US and only $6 for two bottles!

So now you know why I'm excited about my liquid worm poop, will let you know in a few weeks how it works!

1. Yes
I used some last summer and it seemed to work. That company has some really interesting policies. eg: They have schools do fundraisers by collecting the plastic bottles and turning them in to the company. Everybody can benefit, even the garden!

3. I used it last year on my container plants.
We had planted with sterile soil. This year, cleaning out the containers to reuse, we found the soil full of WORMS. (We didn't use the sprayer, just poured it on) I've been told that the worm poop contains worm eggs so I got a 2-way benefit. And the plants I've put into that soil this year are already doing wonderfully.

But I think I'll look around and see if I can find it in this area. Sounds great! Thanks for the tip.

5. Vermicomposting your own kitchen scraps isn't that hard, either.
I have a worm farm in my laundry room. I save my kitchen scraps; coffee grounds, egg shells, banana peels, etc. Once a day I dump them into the worm farm and cover it up with some shredding newspaper. Easy-peasy. I get liquid fertilizer that drips out the spigot, and every few months a load of vermicompost to spread on my garden. And it helps the environment because I throw waste into the landfill :)

6. I'll have to find some of that, especially if you get worms from it as an added bonus.
