It grew fast! When do I pick it?

1. You can tell it will be ripe tomorrow if someone picked it yesterday
Cucumbers are funny to my way of thinking. You don't pick them so much because you think they are ripe as you pick them because they are the length you want them to be. The thing with them is not to pick them too late more than it is not to pick them too early. That one in the picture; it would have been in a salad last night if it had grown within a mile of here.

2. I agree
with the sentiment of not picking them too late. Ours have always tended to get really bitter if not picked in time.

3. Pack it in a box with cold packs, mail to me, and I'll tell you if it was ripe.
You can eat cukes any time you want. Ripe is a matter of opinion, they are ripe from when they are small up until that moment they are over-ripe. Eat and enjoy and I am envious.
