tomatillos? or weeds?
I think these are tomatillo volunteers, judging from their location ... but I'd like to make sure they aren't some common weed before I dig up some and redistribute around the yard. Anyone know for sure?

1. Don't look like tomatillos to me, but it also looks like a mixture of plants
The longer, more pointed ones, maybe, but not the little round ones. They are generally a little more spikey on the sides and less dense.

2. The round leaves are just the first pairs that fall off.
The true leaves are the pointy ones. Kind of hard to see that from the photo since it's shot from above, but it's all one kind of very happy plant there.

I hope I can figure this out soon, cause it rained a slow steady rain today and I half expect to go out tomorrow and see they grew a foot overnight. :)

3. I'd let em grow right where they are until they mature enough to tell
Then transplant them wherever you'd like. You won't kill the roots on them because they'll grow right up the stem wherever they touch soil. (I mean, try and get as much of it as you can of course :) but it's not like they develop dainty roots or anything!)

I hope they are ... that would be a bonus find. Let me know how that goes for ya.
