My favorite plant.

We have some wisteria growing on some posts and on the side of the shed and it is the best smelling thing we have in our yard.

I have seen Wisteria vines trained to look like trees with all the flowers hanging down.

We have one that is over 20 years old. I trained it as a tree when it was young but alas, it grew beyond that years ago. It covers all of the corner of our rail fence. A young sapling made the mistake of sprouting and growing right up the middle of the wisteria mass and the wisteria has overtaken it and bent it to the ground. I don't get too near this plant as I am afraid it will reach out and grab me with its green tentacles. :silly:
