Please tell me this is just an internet rumor/one person movement
I read something in GD about a movement afoot to get RFK, jr. to run for HRC's seat (assuming she either becomes the nom and leaves or at the end of her term she retires). Considering he is the US's most prominent vaccines cause autism woo, I have absolutely no desire to see this guy run, let alone win. Can you imagine how much attention the anti-vaxx groups would get from this?
The poster seems like he might be the founding memeber trying to start a movement (a la Ron Paul) but still...Could you imagine if this is true?:scared:

1. Well, it might be bad for anti-vax, but otherwise...
having another staunch environmentalist in congress wouldn't be bad, either.

Apart from the anti-vax weirdness, he's otherwise a right-on feller.

But I think he would have run already if he was interested in political office.

2. Usually I am not a one issue voter...
But to me this is waaay to important to give a person center stage about. I would actually rather a twoofer get elected, because at least they can't hurt public health. Scare enough people about vaccines, and a great deal of damage can be done to the rest of us particularly my family member with Lupus who can't get vaccines and therefore is dependent on the rest of us to be vaccinated.
