I guess the Rally to Restore Sanity /Fear forgot to exclude stupidity ..

I saw someone walking around with a sign that said "Remove Mercury from vaccines, now!". Took all my effort not to tell said woman that she was a fear mongering idiot...as bad as any RWinger. Ugh. Other than that, I was impressed by the intelligence and wit of the signs there...I think this is a good one for our group matter of fact...

Yeah. I noticed the amount of I like Jon Stewart but he's kinda wrong bullshit going on in GD. GD is by nature anti-sanity I fear.

4. Here's whats telling..both my younger sister and I who attended the rally

(she was holding up the "I'm sitting down for America" note) are both pretty liberal. Because we are both busy we don't get to talk all that often. Both of us have, independently of each other, in the last few months sworn off of all cable news as being too much commentary and bias and not enough news. Except for the Daily Show, of course...:rofl:

5. what I don't get

is the people who want their own version of Fox News. NO. And NO again. I want Walter Cronkite, I want Ed Murrows. I want news that is just news.
