Star Wars: Battlefront! Players check in

I got Battlefront the day it was released. Its beaten all of my expectations. Granted, my expectations weren't that high, but still its managed to be an excellent shooter.

So anyone else play here on DU? (either on the consoles or the PC)

I love playing the Galactic Civil War missions, I'm partial to the Empire. The Scout Trooper is the best sniper in the game. (although the Rebel and Droid snipers have the extra zoom) And of course, nothing beats the ubiquitous Stormtrooper!

1. I Have It For XBox

Me and a friend have been going through a co-op Galactic Civil War campaign. It was so much fun for us just get in a couple of AT-ATs and just raise hell on Hoth. Playing online is a blast too.

2. AT-ATs ROCK

My favorite planet is Rhen Var. I love blasting the Rebels in the Harbor with the Imperial Hover Tanks and AT-ATs. I started playing the Clone War missions, the super battle droid and the jet trooper are awesome.

i go kill crazy and shoot everything. apparently though i'm a force to be reckoned with, as i dominate my friends, who are sober, but when i'm sober, they beat me.

5. HAHA!

Yeah i stay up late playing it with my roommate...i love Galactic Conquest, in fact we're in the middle of a Clone Wars campaign, its pretty even, although the my roommate has managed to win 3 victories forcing me into a do or die situation in the next match.

I don't want him to overthrow a planet like Bespin. Then my sabotage planetary bonus would be gone and that would suck....immensely.

My only complaint is the collision detection when you're flying the Republic Gunship (especially on Genosis).

I'm trying to do everything in the difficult mode now. Those damn droidekas are a pain.

but you know what's a bigger pain in the ass? REBEL PILOTS. They have a blaster cannon that's incredibly devastating at close range. And they always seem to dodge my shots, so they're a bitch to kill.

8. Yes...the pilots are a pain.

I hate it when the computer piles in more than one pilot in a vehicle. They become impossible to destroy. I can never get a pilot to enter into a vehicle with me...you would think the AI would be smart enough to know that I want a pilot in the vehicle with me....but no.

9. Happened to me on Geonosis.......................

there were a couple of pilots in one of the 6-legged walkers and I could never destroy it.
