dosbox + the-underdogs = low-budget ecstasy
Heh. Now that I'm gainlessly unemployed, I have spare time to go back and revisit some of those games that I missed out on while I was going to college and working for a living.

Dosbox: an emulator to make your spiffy new computer act like an ancient beast
http://dosbox.sourceforge.net

the-underdogs: a site that has resurrected much forgotten gameware from the days when programmers knew how to write an overlay
http://www.the-underdogs.org

Hell, I didn't even know there WAS an Archon Ultra or a sequel to Moebius.

1. These Are the BEST!
I love the Avalon Hill boardgames, Third Reich and Advanced Civilization and History of the World and 1830.

My friend is addicted to the Magic: The Gathering computer games.

I flipped out when I found the ancient Balance of Power game (made famous on the Mac) for IBM.

So much great stuff there!

2. I love dosbox...
I really wish someone would make a Windows 3.1 emulator.. I have a bunch of things from back then that couldn't run in dos, nor in later versions of windows.. but yes..

3. Afterlife!
One of my favorite geriatric games. Puts many modern god games to shame.

4. Home of the Underdogs has been my fav site for years now
So much gaming goodness all in one spot! I check the site out almost daily and just hit "Random Game" for a bit.
