Anyone still playing BF2?

I'm a little late to the party and just started playing it a month ago. I've never liked FPSs before but this one is great! Ya EA suppport sucks and the game still has some glitches but it is a real kick in the pants when it does run. I unlocked the PKM gun over the weekend and holy cow! that gun blows holes through people!

1. There Is A Small Group...

of us (3) that used to play regularly. We are all on a bit of a hiatus at the moment though. I plan on picking it up again in the fall but I'm not sure about the other guys. Maybe they will see this and chime in.

We can touch base after the release of the patch. I figure some practice is in order before 2142 comes out this winter (maybe).

PS: I finished Oblivion. Took me over 100 hours, and I STILL left a bunch of quests undone. Mankar Camoran was a total pussy - I took him down with three swipes of my dastardly Daedric Claymore.

5. Oblivion? F*&k That POS.

Well kinda. The main quest is broken and my previous save point is about five game-play hours prior to that. I closed about 4 gates in that time and I really don't feel like trudging back through them. I'll get around to it someday. So we'll hook up post 1.4 then?

7. Alright! What maps have guys been playin?

I've logged quite a bit of time on Karkand. I'm currently playing the Armored Fury maps but I'm open to whatever. I've got a good group of guys that I've been playing with and we've been using teamspeak for voip. If interested I'll PM the IP for our server.

We have our own TS server and when we kick off again I'll PM the particulars to you. The server is also available for any DUer at any time if your interested.
I'll be looking forward to your joining in with us.
Karkand is getting old as well as most of the other original maps. I've yet to get Armored Fury and I'm looking forward to the new infantry only map with the new patch.

10. Just Duckie.

I hope that list isn't all inclusive of the fixes, cause there is some stuff they left out. Most notably firing a rocket the goes right through its' target.

12. 1.4 Patch is out

It works great and the new map is fun. I haven't had any CTD problem nor did the server crash. I haven't tried Infantry Only but I saw some servers running it.
