Your favorite 2 player PC games (wireless LAN)
We only have dial-up available here, so it's just us 2 on a wireless network against bots.
We're getting bored with Quake Arena and Civ III. :)

(I just ordered Quake 4)

5. I'd Stay Away From Serious Sam II.
I friggen hated the demo. Stick with the original and "The Second Encounter".

8. I had just put Serious Sam Gold into my cart,
which is the First and Second Encounters.
That should keep us busy for a while. Thanks again. :)

4. Two of the most insane shooters ever.
A total blast, especially on the higher difficulty settings when you're almost always running around with about 5% of your health left :)

7. Oh yeah...
It's the only game that's really captured that "almost ready to die at any second" feel that Doom and Doom 2 had,at least for me.Plus it's just plain fun.The game is anything but "Serious".

3. I played a lot of Day of Defeat (Half-Life mod, now with retail release) for years.
There's a newer version with the Half-Life 2 stuff, which is also a fairly fun one. You can probably get all of that on sale by now.

10. StarCraft/Brood War
maybe not the best video game of all time, but definitely a reliable RTS classic.
